And for the keycaps searching, you still had to resolve to taobao or even further places like GH.

Subjective, if you like clean and linear typing experience, red is fine.

If you want some tactility to be sure of your each key press, brown is the choice.

Lol, trading a filco for a keycool, that's a steal.

Btw, cm qfr do come with blue, just not sure if it is available in shops.

Cherry mx switches are designed to fit in standard 3mm led. In fact those 2x3x5mm square led fit in even more perfectly. So adding of led should not affect the typing.

Most of the keycaps on modern mech kb are using same type of profile, dcs profile.


Though, different manufacturer and oem may choose and use their own height. Most notably fews are cherry (lowest), signature plastic and standard oem height such as ducky, filco and so on. The elevation different between standard oem height and cherry eight is around 2mm, not really a big deal even if you mix match and use both on a same board.

Also, sometimes, those thick keycaps or the reinforcing cross on the back side of the keycaps may indeed affect the key traveling a little, but it isn't really a things you will concern about.

So far so safe, tried mah self (on kb of course, lol).

Just that the effect isn't very significant, so I will suggest it to be used on noisy stabilizer lubing.
