QUOTE(Xaphier @ Aug 7 2013, 08:52 AM) Sorry, I was thinking to get the backlitted one since it has this version Backlited is 100rmb more costly, not worth it IMO. You can get 87 led at less than RM8. Not to mention that POM > coated PC in term of durability. But if you insist, I think I came across a seller of brown + backlit just now too. Here is it but I not sure if he is a legit seller as his sale record is scare. http://a.m.taobao.com/i18392970705.htm?rn=...7d760c&abtest=8This post has been edited by Human10: Aug 7 2013, 09:01 AM

QUOTE(Xaphier @ Aug 7 2013, 09:18 AM) So you're saying I should get the normal non-backlited version and then change it to a POM keycaps after that and mod in into LED? Thank you so much for your help by the way! P.S: RM8 for all 87 LED? Non backlit version come default with POM keycaps, while backlit one with coated PC. Coated PC become worn out much faster than POM. So on this case, I will value POM (or even normal abs) over the coated PC. Yes, led only cost around 0.13 rmb each. And since the board come with holes for led, basically you just install and solder it on and you are good to go. You still saved some money + gained option to select your desired led color. QUOTE(lowyatguy @ Aug 7 2013, 10:05 AM) Mr. Human, seems like in wireless mode, the backlit feature is disabled huh? 背光无线机械键盘,可惜的是无线模式下不能背光,不过问了几家无线模式下都不能背光。红色的很炫,漂亮哦 茶轴有小段落感 Ya, it is so. Cause if not then the battery life probably can't last over 2days, lol. Plum planned to solve it by using rechargeable li-ion battery in their coming Noppoo 75, but till now they still can't confirm whether it will be a cherry mx board or not... Also, Corsair also selling them seperately at a price a tad cheaper than what is in taobao.

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Aug 12 2013, 12:25 AM) Hey, KBT Oni is plate mounted right? So no need to desolder when want to change switches? And support LED mod isn't it? ONI plate mounted. Need despisers to mod switch. Regarding LED part, so far I didn't saw any internal review of the non backlit board of it yet, so can't be 100% sure about it. Though, I made my bet that if the switches are reversely mounted as in the backlit version, it should be supporting backlit.

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Aug 12 2013, 09:52 AM) Hey guys and girls, anyone here know what is this keyboard call? and where possible to buy it? this keyboard is more than 25-30years old. The Output only got 5pins. [attachmentid=3578210] That is a din5 port (aka 5pins or in Chinese, 大口) If you are lucky, you may found din5 to ps2 adapter to use it on modern PC. If you want to adapt it the other way round, than you probably will had a real tough luck. This post has been edited by Human10: Aug 12 2013, 10:23 AM

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Aug 12 2013, 10:26 AM) My old wooden PC only got the din5 Port input, so I need something looks like this? (images from Google) So that I can use modern keyboard to plug into my wooden PC? Yup, you need the things in the pic, but as I stated, it will be super hard to find such things, might as well get a new PC or find an old model m with din5 port. QUOTE(NightFelix @ Aug 12 2013, 11:04 AM) I go search taobao tonight. Thanks for the link! Have you check the 2 link I share above yet? Ya, I'm kinda despo for it because the old machine only got this of input which connect to another machine that my company use to engraving lettering like chinese character/alphabets. I checked them. I didn't find the adapter in your link. Regarding the keyboard, it should be usable on your PC. Worth a try at that price (who knows later it turns out to be a mechanical keyboard, lol). Btw, why out of sudden you need a new keyboard for old PC? Old one kaput? And is there any down side of any of these kb mentioned? I personally like the majestouch though cos i've tried it and it feels really good. But wanna hear opinions from you guys. Why don't let your budget or preference (if any) do the toking?
