that HPE logo is only a sticker using some really cheap gum to gum it on, like mine, 1 finger swipe and the label is gone
*
I know, but what concerning more is the hole/void it left behind if remove the sticker.

I thought Poker II all are PBT keycaps?
*
Pbt itself is durable, but the painting on it can fade away or get dirty fairly easy, especially lasered pbt.

Yup, poker2 is lasered pbt.

Always remember that durability of legends and keycaps are separated.

Regarding MKC keycaps, some ppl used to comment that zinc isn't really durable as keycaps. If you really want something durable, I think their cnc milled anodized aluminum keycaps will be good, though it cost more than 50rmb each piece, ouch...

I see.So the stock keycaps wordings for Poker II will not last that long under heavy usage i guess.

As for the MKC keycaps, i was looking for some special type of keycaps and i came across this MKC thingy.
It is new to me though, but i really like the metallic feel of those keycaps.

Sorry my bad, was referring to those keycaps as in the link below.
Now only i know that MKC is their brand name.  sweat.gif

Buy a few keys and test drive first then.

If satisfy then proceed to whole set.

google has some guide.
What i am concerning is all about the "friction-less"

I dont really concern about cherry logo big small whatever.
But then the "proper vintage cherry logo" should give a good guide on vintage black
*
+1, IIRC, vintage black got a bigger Cherry logo.

Though, it is real hard to inspect the different with eyes without putting them side to side.

IINM, 87U is having a significantly higher price tag than 86U or even 104.

But again, RM500 seems to be a good price.

I see I see. Maybe I will give Filco blue switch a try =). Among different brands, let say if its blue switch, means no matter how the typing feel is the same right? No difference in quality of switch but difference in quality of built?
*
But the different in built (especially for blue switch) is enough to affect the typing feel.

So choose the one that having a promising built.

Hi, im sorry for interuppting. I just want to ask, if you guys know any shop in Klang Valley or Selangor area who can repair my BlackWidow2013? Cause i just spilled some barley water into the "-" key and "*" key area (i mean the top right part of the numpad). The key feels weird now, didnt have the original "mechanical feel" anymore. Would appreciate if anyone could help, cause i just bought it 2 months ago. sad.gif
*
You will need 2 new blue switches.

On a side note, I personally feel that it is a little hard to pry open BWU without leaving a little scars on it.

Try if you like tactility of brown.

If you do, brown sounds like a good choice for your need.

Omg. Too B***dy expensive la mech keyboards... Which brand is cheapest?
*
Cheap? That is a very subjective and rather irrelevant question here. brows.gif

But if you insist on the cheapest, I will say China boards. Available from sub RM170 (add another RM20 for shipping), depending on brands and layout.

Why always in Chinese? Most mech KB are not into US mainstream market is it, unless if they are gaming brand?
*
Most of them made in China mar, thats why.

Also, model like Topre Heaven is Asia exclusive model IINM, the reason is to provide a cheaper option.

In South East Asia, I don't think there are much ppl willing to spend over RM800 for a keyboard, except for those that are more elite.
