Someone here got 2, wait for him to reply.

Btw, why Armageddon if you can get something better at cheaper price, such as Quickfire Rapid.

Human10 China KB Master, want recommendation for low priced TKL for office use.. not sure about HPE/PLU or others..

Considering 96 layout?
Plate/pcb mount?
Wireless?
Keycaps type?
Specific need?
Plan to mod 9 9 next time?
Keycaps (spacebar compability concerning you much?)
The cheaper the better?

If cheap and bang for bucks are your priority, I think plum96(wired) or keycool 87 are good choices. Come with pbt/Pom keycaps at sub 330rmb. (Though, their spacebar standard are on the odd side.)

If you wish for more modability, mobility, features and so on, add some more and go for Neo Zelia. The board is unique in its own way. Pcb mounted top caseless wireless keyboard, one of the most rare combination you ever see (though, may also be the least solid one), offering unmatched mobility even by poker.

Back on the topic, if you feel safer getting a board with standard spacebar (ps: cause I saw that you own a leopold), CM storm QFR may still be the best choice.

Sorry for not providing enough information for you..

Mobility is not a concern as I'm planning to leave the board at my office.

Considering 96 layout?
- Yes, but I still lean towards standard TKL

Plate/pcb mount?
- don't mind

Wireless?
- don't mind

Keycaps type?
- don't mind

Specific need?
- Cherry MX Blue for programming

Plan to mod 9 9 next time?
- no plan yet, perhaps only key caps.. soldering is out of my league

Keycaps compaitbility (spacebar compability concerning you much?)
- yes or no, indeed I'm having hard time looking for replacement spacebar for my Leopold.. but I absolutely love the solid feel of Leopold keyboard that balanced the pros/cons of it. and I actually considered FC200R/FC700R

The cheaper the better?
- sub RM300, kena curi heart not so pain.

QFR fits my requirements, but I'll leave it as my backup choice.. anyone know if HeavyArms got QFR for molest?... worst to worst, change the chassis of QFR =.=
I do consider the option of getting the ONI, but having no MX Blue option and RM100 topup for PBT caps is more towards luxury option...

well, I do love PBT caps, but ABS is fine for me too.
*
Plum 96 wired blue switch sound like a perfect choice for you, should be less than RM200 shipped.

IMO, POM is as good as pbt. At least much better than abs.

RM 100 you can mod it to any LED you want alreayd
*
+1, cost of 60 LED is less than RM5. Cost for a solder, RM2.

Though, the workmanship, tools and shipping is another story.

hi, im a potential mech kb buyer  tongue.gif

so i spent the last few days going thru the 101s of mech kb. Already can memorise some of the switches and their characteristics.

Not sure which to buy yet.
Budget max rm350, i prefer those tenkeyless keyboards, future customisation in terms of replacing keycaps with other colors is very much welcomed.

LEDs are not so important to me.

Ducky/steelseries seems to be the most popular - but does this mean i should not consider other brands?  hmm.gif
How does the experience differ between brands?
*
If you can accept over branding of CM storm, then go for Quickfire Rapid.

If not, try get a filco or kbt ONI.

Can, but why do you want to replace LEDs?
You want a unicorn vomit LED board?

Most LED circuitry do not support individual colors.
Even for the POKER LED matrix, probably can see that some LED are dimmer/brighter than others if you use different colors.
*
But joonwei23 one seems pretty fine, the Red color led is quite bright from his picture.

Enjoy the morphling.

You count the shipping using 2kg weight right?

Btw, just some words of warning. We had often heard of tragedy of blue switch + pom when removing the keycaps due to the keycaps stuck too tightly on the switches.

I am not sure how tight is the Pom keycaps of plum since mine is pbt (but so far, I didn't really heard complain regarding plum's Pom from the Noppoo choc mini era to their own plum range). But just to be extra safe, be extra careful when removing the keycaps incase it is tight.

Also, plum96's case is easy to remove, so you may try to remove the case and figure out way to secure the switch first then proceed to remove the keycaps just incase it is too tightly stuck on the switches.

Brought those components needed to your local electrical repair shop, I believe they will gladly do it for you for at most RM20.

For POKER 2 type PCB, need so desolder everything, and need to put back in.
Even with the right tools, it takes 2 -3 hours to do.

Rm20 just for 1 LED, maybe la.
Doable.
But I assume MKA-3 uses Pb Free solder and cheap quality PCB.
With that combination, those PCBs are a big no no for frequent solder/desoldering.
*
Why need to desolder everything? He just want to add some led. Isn't simply desolder existing solder and resolder with led enough?

Try to compare it with individually supplying 1.8-2V voltage directly from battery.

If the brightness differ much, I think those led on your board is straining?

Need to desolder the LED pads as they are presoldered.
It's not that LEDs damaged.
For parallel circuits, the Voltage drop across the other LEDs is lower than the Red LED.
This means the LED is being powered by lower voltage, hence the lower brightness.

If you can decipher the schematics, then you can probably group the same circuits together and do cluster LED color or something.
*
Yar, I know the led holes are presoldered. But still only desolder, remove and resolder only, no need to remove everything as you said just now right?

same thing too rite?
but some say the case abit not same shape wor?
the HPE shape more Rectangular kan?
*
But for keycool is indeed a nice keyboard, and the case design is more ergonomic and less edgy.

If you plan to keep stock case, keycool.
If you want a standard shape and full compability with filco, Noppoo choc mid 87

Hpe having a ugly logo.
