can anyone tell me wat is the latest most attractive p525 promotiion of late?

i js went to lyp, rm 2188 is the lowest with 1Gb n jabra headset. i usually don use the headset, but prefer speaker phone all the time. can i reduce the price but refusing the jabra.

hows the mp3 sound quality. comparing to SE phones?

my first pda its gonna be. the salegirl told me the p525 is faster than most 4xx mhz cus it use sthg lik the turbo-wat?

can i know the bad n strong of tis pda phone, not the appearance but , off the paper specs info, the implicit stuffs like turbo processor, good bass sound mp3 stuffs lik tht. thnks

im currently owning a O2 xphone II. planning to trade in probly n deciding whether to drop my beijing trip for tis p525. so hope to make a regretless move . pls persuade me wit tis purchse or agst tis phone?

im not too into 3G anyway i dono wht to use it for. i live in an housing area wher all wifis r locked...so i cant use my wifi anyway too huh?

AKU stands for Adaptation Kit Upgrade
and i think the asus p525 coems with AKU 2.3

all windows mobile 5 comes with AKU
basically its just a form of updating windows...
like which version of updates...

Is that thing upgradeable. Means from AKU2.3 asus p525 to AKU3

No need. All default program was there included the OS. Only new program or 3rd party program will be lost. But if you backup regularly, you just need to restore back your backup after hard reset.

Yup tried with Holux GPSlim 236 Bluetooth GPS, connected without any problem and able to run Map software (Garmin Que or Mapking) smoothly. Being using it for almost 4 months already

i'm new with p525...just bought it at suprisingly rm1850, but no bt headset, just got 1G miniSD card...and all other basic accessories..


i'm still exploring it though...really like talking to this pda using voice command...hehe...

just connect activesync via bluetooth...

Just to share y'all my exprienced..

if any of you guys exprienced some kind of bugs/problem related to the power status (mine was died at 92%, no increase while charging, no decrease while using it), this can be caused by defactive battery in the first batch of asus p525 in the market.

last week i went to asus service centre at bandar tasik selatan to claim the warranty, and the guy said there were already few customers come to them regarding the same problem. And the guy changed the new battery for me, free of charge (it still on warranty cover though)..

anybody exprienced this before?

As far as I know from somebody in this forum. This battery life will ast longer if we keep charging them. Check back from previous discussion in this forum.

I did that on my notebook battery & my battery went kaput after 6mths! sad.gif sad.gif

When I bot replacement batt, The seller advise me the otherwise..dun ever continuously charged the battery once it's full & if u r on AC..take out the battery...When I contested saying nowadays battery where got memory problems...the seller just smile & ask me to do it again & see whether what he said is true......off course not-lah & my replacement batt oledi wth me for a year & still kicking... biggrin.gif
