Hi folks,

Wanna ask you guys..
How to mark and select few files or contacts?

It's pretty hard if say i wanna select 10 images to be relocated to other folders..and i dun find any ways to select say 10 contacts and delete them one shot?

Pls advice dude..
thx

If you wanna moves a bunch of files in one move you can use file explorer, highlight all the file, tap and hold your stylus on the highlighted files and a command will be pop up, select cut and go to the destination folder tap and hold then paste.

For delete contact as far as I know you must do it one by one

hi ..

thank you for your info.

but dont you think the key pad light turns off too fast / soon?

another question, i think the battery life is too short. mine only last a day.

does anyone know where i could buy those leather casing for this p525?

is there any shops selling the stylus? just need to have a spare

thanks

sam

Battery life is depends how often you use it and how you use it. If you use the PDA speaker a lot it drain your battery, better use the earphone provided. A lot of access to memory card also drain out of your battery. Making a lot of phone call also done the same thing.

Try contact the phone star about those accessories. The guy there quite helpful in many thing.

hi all,

jus found out a strage condition with my gadget..

When i send SMS.. if i click send and straight away click "x" to return to TODAY screen..
the receipient will receive ONE SMS but no notifcation about it is sent..
Then i return to the MESSAGING screen, i notice that previous sms is staying in the OUTBOX..
Then i will receive SMS notification and click "DISMISS"..
And few seconds later, my receipient will automatically receive the same SMS for 2 times
then i noticed the message in OUTBOX is being transferred to SENT ITEMS folder...

However, if i changed the routine to send my SMS:
After clicking SEND and i stay in MESSAGING screen and didnt return to TODAY screen..
The SMS is being sent ONCE and i received SMS SENT notification straightaway..
i will not stay very long in OUTBOX folder before i saw it in SENT ITEMS folder... then i return to TODAY screen... not frill..

is anybody experience the same thing?
now i have to wait until SMS being sent then i can exit MESSAGING & return to TODAY screen and do other stuffs.. it's a long wait thou juz 30secs..

pls share.. thx alot

Answer from Asus Guys : Mr Deo

"My name is Deo. It's a pleasure to help you with your problem.

I've test it for you. And there is no such problem.
You could use hardreset to have a try:
Please press the "5 way Joystick" to the top. Then, press Reset in order to clean boot. before you do that please copy the data you need.

If it can't solve your problem, the problem maybe caused by the Mobile Network. You can change another SIM card for a try.

If the problem still exists. Could you please send your device to the retailer you bought your device from, and they w! ould help you send it to service center have a further check.

Welcome to refer FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions) for ASUS products in ASUS website:

did u installed any third-party software that change X button from Minimize to Exit Programs? If you do, the software actually exit Messaging program before it can successfully send the sms. u need to exclude Messaging program from Exit by tapping X button. that's the culprit i think...
