I think you better ask the guy to change phone. It might be something wrong with the phone. I am pretty convinced that it is the phone problem.

SMS receive 2, send out 1. Then calling 2 times, each time less tahn 2minutes, missed call 1, no listen to mp3, changing theme like 3 times.
that's it.. Any doubt?

Ok, just to share with u my experience. I bought a Sony Ericsson V600i 2 months ago. Since the day one, the phone really give me haedache, the battery can finish within 12-15 hours without using the phone at all. i went to the handphone shop for 3 times, each time they just change a newer battery for me. All the battery are phone care ap set BST-37. At last I decided to send the phone to the ap service shop myself. Leave my phone there for a month. Only until this monday i get back my phone. The battery I charged on tuesday, until now still left 50% (i switch off the phone everyday around 12am-7am). So I guess your phone maybe got problem. Recently I found some forum also got SE users complain their w800i, w810i, k600i also having the same problem. Guess it's the manufacturing defect?

Ladywinter, I seriously advise u to change phone. If yours is ap set then the vendor would definitely have to change for u.

Now the problem is the vendor dont want change for me. He keeps saying that my phone is no p roblem because full battery can used up to 1 day only is consider no problem.
Anyone any idea where can get my handphone repair?

sad to hear yr case.. but we all hate to send in for repair cause it will take time. and dunno wat thy going to do with yr phone. unless u specificly request a new handset.. tats wat my friend did with her w800i. but i think wat thy gave her in return was a refurbished one. so hv to consider carefully. and bfr u buy. u must say tat if anythin wrong u want a completely new one. thy mostly giv u a week to trial and error with ya phone.

send in Authorised Service Center. even after check and u don't wanna repair also u need to pay at least RM45 for lobour charge

ladywinter, y not u try send the phone to the ap service shop, c whether they can repair it? do u have a warranty card? just go to the address listed in warranty card. but then, maybe u have to leave your phone there long time, and also a few scratch on the screen (in my case). but because they already fixed my problem and it's FREE. So i don't mind of those little scratch....

Also, before that the seller also always saying my phone is normal. They said 3G phone comsume more power, sony ericsson phone is like that one bla bla... but i still not believe what they said. luckily at last the problem solved.

Hi Jake, my warranty card address is the shop where I bought my handphone.
I can't do anything now as they say no problem with my handphone..
They even said I make them scolded by their supplier as 1 day is normal case..
Issit anyway I can straight go to the AP service shop without through my vendor?

that's why.... never get AP set... thier uncertain warranty issue will make u pay more than an ori set at the end because u wanna save 1 - 2 hundred.

i think my phone can last more than 5 days.

i suggest you better go check for your phone whether there's any problem with it or not.

Means only that seller provides warranty, and that seller is not responsible? i think you can only send the phone to the sony ericsson authorized service centre for checking, as mentioned by other member. btw, in some net forum, i found some people mentioned W810i battery life is shorter than W800i, don't know it's true or not.

but in my case, the ap service did fix the bug for me. maybe i'm lucky?

Wow, 5 days? That's very good. My previous SE T100 last 3 days, SE T230 last 3.5days while the current SE V600i (after repaired) last only 2.5 days. But currently i still testing the V600i, around 10 mp3 (repeat), using GPRS to download some theme.., received/send 10 sms, and some phone call. So i guess it's normal?
Can teach me how you charge the battery? leave it charging for the whole night?

Fulat, the w810i thread states that it can stand at least 4 days with normal usage, ie making few phonecalls and so on. If not used at all, the battery could last around 6 days. All the sets should be the same then. NOw way some can last that long and some can last only 2 days. Ladywinter, your set is ap or midlands? if ap set i hear they will charge for repair at the authorized service center. Not quite sure though. Better get it fixed. I wanted to get AP earlier too, but my dad bising, he say buy so expensive stuff better make sure have proper warranty
Jake_male, can u give us some details regariding ur phone repair? As in whats the actual problem with it. The bug is software bug?
