You know, you're creating a very peculiar conundrum with that line.

Should I support the local industry by buying the cheaper localized version or go for the more feature-ful CE which is 3 times more pricey?

The former option might entail future reduction costs in later games, while the latter will ensure I am happier with my purchase now albeit doesn't help the local industry.

Its like a very warped view on the current piracy vs ori purchases

Go for the CE you'll have to wait a long long time b4 an RTS game like Sup Com comes out again.

yuck. too bad. i like to collect boxes. so the non localized normal edition would be RM159 right? hmmm...looks like that's the only way...

seems like torrents have it already, when the official release date is 20/2?

I suppose that the torrents are still beta or demos of supcom unless its a 5gig+ torrent.

They said this game will run smoothly at 30fps or more so the 8800s seem to pass that point. You can also notice that there is no benchmarks for sli and crossfire yet.

But it is really dissapointing to see the previous generation cards like X1950s and 7900s have trouble running this game at acceptable framerates on the high setting.
This game is truly made for the upcoming DX10 cards.

Yeah, thats why if I were to truely buy a pc for this game it would be prolly 3 years time while I still limp with my current 4 month old PC, kinda sad.

But my rig is still ok despite of what they say and I was running it on 1600 all high settings it only lags when Ive got units caught in a nuclear explosion.

Wonder what kinda environment did they develope and test this game on.

It looks like even if i upgrade... Only able to play at low setting..

If want to play at medium setting... Need at least 8800.. OMG..

I'm pretty sure not much can play Multiplayer game due to lagness..

Damnit,my rig cant take the full version of Sup Com even after upgrading my RAM to 1.5GB.Im not running this game at Low,it looks like crap,worse than Warcraft 3's graphics.

I think i'm not getting this game till i have a better rig.

How could you do this to me,Gas Powered Games?

In any case, I'm happy playing this game in Low... I've gotten quite used to the zoomed out view

Im not playing any alpha versions.Im still playing the demo.

I think im still playing this great game.It's what i want all these while but it will take sometime to get used to it after playing so many micro intensive games like CoH and DC.Im really not used to a macro intensive game.

Oh ya... after thinking for a while the detail arent really important cause most of the time im using the zoom out mode too.Details doesnt really matter when you are looking far a way but i'll miss the fancy terrain scarring.Everything looks like a bunch of pixels only.How to play with the closest zoom?Cant really see anything.

The main thing is at least my com can run this game at minimum,unlike some of my friend's com which cant even start the game at all.

I hope it's further optimized in the full retail version,far better than the demo.No wonder it lags on my com lags in the campaign when i have lots of planes flying around.Im playing on the default setting,btw.
