QUOTE(Xirality @ Jul 31 2013, 03:58 PM) I believe the shatter proof sheet does not protect, but prevents the glass flying all over when your screen cracks. It will be like a tinted car windscreen where the glass won't fly all over.I have held the xzu. It is too skinny. And no glass for me. |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Jul 31 2013, 04:04 PM) true mang. more like protect the glass from shatter hence the name "Shatter Sheet" than scratches. Still not confirm want to get or not, no time to go sony centre test out. Maybe this weekend. I mean it offers NO protection except to stop the CRACKED glass from flying all over. There's a youtube video of some guy removing the sheet and it actually has no impact on the screen responsiveness. QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jul 31 2013, 10:38 PM) Perhaps you have been paying more attention at the XZU thread Nice machine, really. Just IMHO I really value true paper replacement very much, and that digitizer doesn't cut it. Still doesn't with the update, and I really don't think it ever will coz it's a hardware limitation. |

Department of Paranoia:
The death of privacy: The internet is always watching, and it never forgets http://www.androidcentral.com/talk-mobile/...ets-talk-mobile Our smartphones and tablets are increasingly becoming repositories of our personal information. It's a treasure trove of data that could be used to build a frighteningly complete picture of you as a person. It's more than just your contacts, calendar, memos, and photos - it's your web history, your calls and text messages, your banking data and social network logins. People say "my whole life is on my phone", and while that hopefully isn't entirely true (time to reevaluate your priorities if it is), an increasingly large portion of our lives - or at least the data that comprises it - is finding residence on these devices. So just how are we going about keeping it all secure? =============== ADDED: Just when you thought it was safe to get back into the water: XKeyscore NSA tool uncovered, collects pretty much the whole internet http://www.slashgear.com/xkeyscore-nsa-too...ernet-31292337/ ![]() See the MAIL SUBJECT ........
