Did you follow the steps from dr. ketan, or benny888, or just use framaroot to root. ROM Manager is not compatible with some stuff.

When you root, you HAVE TO READ CAREFULLY. You won't get electrocuted but you will get the chance of a softbrick which seems to be what happened to you.

See posts 6 and 7 if you haven't already.

Framaroot would be the easiest method for now. Or maybe the Note 2 Toolkit may have a rooting tool included now I don't recall.

I rooted way back in Oct and no longer recall how it's done tongue.gif

AFAIK, DMG ROMs should have fixed the DMF issues but I haven't tried. I'm on DME1 from March.

Yes Feature X is working fine for me.

Possible phone charging port problem. Go send for warranty replacement.

You can install the Galaxy Charging Current app in post 5 to see what is your incoming current, which will show whether you're charging or not.

It looks like u got hit by sds.... replacement time. The reports of this happening are intermittent.

what they do is got their motherboard replaced.... am i right?

I think I need to send into service centre already... surely take more than a day...

Sds means the whole board is gone. If you cannot even enter download mode then the technician can't either. Your secrets have died with the board.... tongue.gif

Are you charging from usb? Normal usb max is 500. Typical charger shd be above 700.

If you are already rooted why bother with OTA updates? If you perform an OTA update you will lose root. Just download any of the latest pre rooted STOCK roms and you will get the latest and still have root intact.

I can't remember how OTA updates happen tongue.gif
