QUOTE(BigSaver @ Jul 23 2013, 12:43 AM) No worries bro, the case make my N2 a bit bulkier but feel solid Currently using Paranoid,SOT 3 1/2 hour with 40% more battery left is it still consider below average compare to TW? still lurking and learning best roms for this monster 3.5hr with 40% remaining is very good. I've been on TW almost the whole time and my best SOT is about 5hrs. I leave everything on though.

QUOTE(arslow @ Jul 23 2013, 02:30 PM) kesian that girl, so cute, but now leg burn thanks to unofficial batt so those using Mugen and the likes, better watch out Im really looking forward to seeing quick charge 2.0 being implemented on tablets, maybe we can finally say goodbye to overnight charging for tabs?? nexus 10 2013..... I wonder, getting a One Max, but to not lose the awesome touchwiz stuff, maybe get a note 2 10.1? that tab is most probably gonna include the exynos 5420, so will be able to feel the efficiency/failure of Samsung's latest big.little implementation, and also get the feel of the highly integrated and amazing efficiency of the S800? total damage: minimum also 3.5k Closer to.4k I bet. We live in interesting times

QUOTE(arslow @ Jul 23 2013, 02:55 PM) maybe wait till the note 2 10.1 drops in price since Sammy gadgets seems to be dropping in price pretty fast these days the soya cincau video on butterfly S, when he played the maroon 5 song, my jaw dropped at the clarity and loudness of the boomsound speaker but then again, 2399 is just absurd. If even this is 2399, how about the Max then? 2699??? Premium materials so u pay premium price? I say get a good premium casing will be better. I saw the Eclipse case on another forumer's s4 and it enhanced the feel of the device so much while offering a good measure of protection.

QUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Jul 23 2013, 03:38 PM) Mali say i wanna slap that PowerSGXVR 544MP3 GPU coz PowerSGX damn laggy man.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « "ARM welcomes the latest addition to the successful Exynos Octa 5 series, which uses ARM's Mali GPU solution to dramatically improve graphics performance," said Pete Hutton, executive vice president & general manager, Media Processing Division, ARM. "ARM big.LITTLE™ and ARM Artisan® Physical IP technologies continue to be at the heart of the Octa series and now complement the new functionality brought by ARM GPU Compute. This combination enables unprecedented capabilities in areas such as facial detection and gesture control, and brings desktop-quality editing of images and video to mobile devices."
"Demand for richer graphic experiences is growing rapidly nowadays," said Taehoon Kim, vice president of System LSI marketing, Samsung Electronics. "In order to meet that demand from both OEMs and end users, we developed this processor which enables superb graphical performance without compromising power consumption."
The newest Exynos processor is powered by four ARM Cortex®-A15™ processors at 1.8GHz with four additional Cortex-A7™ cores at 1.3 GHz in a big.LITTLE processing implementation. This improves the CPU processing capability by 20 percent over the predecessor by optimizing the power-saving design.
In addition, the multiple image compression (MIC) IP block inside this System-on-Chip successfully lowers the total system power when bringing pictures or multimedia from memory to display panel. This feature results in maximizing the usage hours of mobile devices with a high-resolution display such as WQXGA (2500x1600), in particular when browsing the web or doing multimedia application requiring the frequent screen refresh.
The new Exynos 5 Octa processor also features a memory bandwidth of 14.9 gigabytes per second paired with a dual-channel LPDDR3 at 933MHz, enabling an industry-leading fast data processing and support for full HD Wifi display. This new processor also incorporates a variety of full HD 60 frames per second video hardware codec engines for 1080p video recording and playback.
The new family of Exynos 5 Octa is currently sampling to customers and is scheduled for mass-production in August. Who's got laggy 544MP3? Isn't it still a very good performer?

I really like the feature in Nova where you can set an app icon on the home screen or dock to perform 2 functions.
The normal function is the tap once to run app function. The other one is where you Edit the app after a long tap and there's option to set a Swipe action. You can make it run another app or nova function.
Very nice.

QUOTE(maru @ Jul 23 2013, 05:06 PM) phone dropped....screen now cracked.... forum ppl fix for rm580.... 2nd hand value around rm1200-1300 worth to repair? I'd like to know if your phone was with or without casing. If with casing, what type. Just curious. Anyway, if you are not concerned about voiding your remaining warranty, you may try this guy: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2895474He seems capable of replacing ONLY the GLASS which is cracked, a lot cheaper. Is your digitizer still functional?

Send to Service Center. The telco is just a postman and you will have a longer wait. I've heard that the Federal Highway SC may be able to serve faster.
