This year there are good contenders.

XZU, Note 3, perhaps HTC One Max. Fonepad Note will come too late and probably run on Intel, which is not yet a good platform for rooting.

Then only the glass cracked. Check out the link I gave you. He can do it for around 200.

At least Note 2 with capacitive and active digitizer at 650 is cheaper than Sony XZ at 1088... whistling.gif

So I guess you weren't using casing....

I think you can buy a fullset screen assembly for around RM300-350 but the removal and replacement is still required.

The 3GS is a 3.5" screen with large bezels, so the shock resistance is higher.

All large screen phones today suffer from poor shatter resistance, some worse than others.

It's not a Nokia 3310...

It's almost a reality actually, but not quite as in the Note making your coffee, but the Note can CONTROL your coffee machine...... just hook up an Arduino or Raspberry Pi and some programming ... rclxms.gif some guy did this.

The DMF2? So far there are reports of no signal rather than poor battery life. I'm on DME1 from March and fine so far.

Did u install any new apps? Between updates u could have installed new apps, or new app updates like whatsapp tend to keep wakelocks thus sucking more juice.

Yesterday some site posted more so-called "leaked" Note 3 pics, but the device was too squarish to be a 16:9 device. What trepidation....

There are a few in eBay I've seen every now and then. The Seidio that was posted yesterday seems to be a good choice, why not take that? The cheap ones you may find on ebay may not be of good quality. I've been reading up a bit on batteries. It is better to take good quality stuff rather than risk an explosion in your pants. tongue.gif

Then the seidio with 4500mah and casing should suit you. Every now and then you read of naked phones dropping on the floor with cracked screens resulting.
