I'm gonna create a name list for savvy owners here..

Pls list your Name, model, variant, colours and year make/registered, total mileage todate or other extra infos.

Why not add one more - FC. That way the 1st page will have useful info even for soon-to-be owners.

Now almost 5000km on the clock...should i change engine oil or just wait 10k km? I checked the engine oil and doesn't seems to be decreasing.
Don't save on engine oil service. Even full syn, every 5000km is good.

claimed warranty for my sis' savvy's front power window also. the power window button seemed to be not quite responsive. it was rarely used also. i think we need to play with the power window more frequently

Have to stress test before warranty over. Car is like that. If no problem then no problem; if got lots of problem at start then will have lots of problem later also.

He told me the ceiling price for the Savvy Sedan is RM40k..

There goes the dream of owning a new sedan < Rm30k. They should lower the price, get more people buy it then it has production cost economy, then more profit come.

I think it's normal. Usually, when a car hit another car from behind, the one hitting the car will get damage to the front. I think it's designed to be like this for the crumple zone.

Maybe nowadays manufacturer escape the shoddy material with the idea 'crumple zone'. Still prefer old days big hard bumper like Corolla GL KE70 or Nissan Sunny.

You can try something like Renault Twingo RS/GT, adding supercharger or turbocharger - resulting 100-ish bhp from your 70-ish bhp, around 50% increase!

Sure become rocket. And don't worry your gearbox, as it was also used in Clio Turbo (I got the info from the web).

btw, so far any AMT user having any complains?

Driver power window sot-sot aleady. Press down no response, press up also no response. Have to press a few times then only got response. The remote to the passenger window totally not working, but i think the passenger window can be use from it's own button below the window. Maybe the driver power window switch spoilt?

Try to add some lubricant (or WD40 they say), it might be still 'virgin' and hard. Or double check the power window wiring.

If I remember correctly, your Savvy should be still under warranty. Claim it fast. wink.gif

p/s: My Toyota LandcruiserII power window (15yrs) still working, but because it never move for some long long time, it moves very slow the '1st' few time... might be the same case, so lubricate it.

Come on, a car getting the most fuel saving label in Malaysia Book of Record needs all this kind of percautions (like 2krpm upshift) to get 15km/L is a joke.

Matrix, if you haven't floored b4, just floored it just to exercise the engine. tongue.gif Also request the throttle body to be cleaned see if its help FC.

My guess is stock surplus. As BLM launch, those extra Savvy stocks will be cleared very slowly.

They should officially reduce 8.5k on Savvy, and force the crappy Viva to have interior 'face lift'.

No need to be like ah beng. Just after pay toll, floor ur pedal for 5 to 10 second is enough loh. The best to do this is during after new oil change.

For Toyota SC, every 5000km they clean throttle body along with the air filter. Since car now most use eletronic throttle control, better clean it.
