thanks for the info! so it's for the 5K trade-in voucher eh. hmmm... susah la... where to find an old car that cost below 5k.
*
just buy a tiara, cost around RM2k only biggrin.gif
then u can trade it for new Savvy, RM5000-Rm2000 = Rm3000, so you'll save 3k

zzz..my fren went to Batu Caves to change the rear bearing.

guess what, 90 cars are in front of him sweat.gif maybe next 2 weeks then only can change.
*
90 cars in front doesn't mean ur fren need to wait for all 90 ppl on top to finish service 1st.
U can ask the SC for an appointment, so u can cut queue, also depends on the SC workload

ha ha me too last saturday smile.gif
actually my rear spindle/bearing still looks good in condition.
anyway its FOC, so just change it to prevent any problem.
the rear bearing is more susceptible to those cars which have waded through flood waters/ banjir kilat

i also think the deal given was too good to turned down

the discount for the car being a 2007 car is indeed only rm3,500.00. however Proton currently having a scrapping program for Savvy purchase. something like trade in your old car for Proton to scrap them. but the car to be traded in must have road tax, geran and must pass PUSPAKOM and JPJ checking. if you have such car, you can trade in the car when buying Savvy, you will get a rm5,000.00 voucher. that what's make the car i booked, an Apple Green 2007 Savvy AMT H-Line only priced at rm37,300.00

i booked the car at Jalan Pegawai showroom, same row with Al-Ikhsan. i'm not sure whether that showroom still got 2007 car or not, but i think the showroon at Alor Semadom, near Taman PKNK there still got stock left for 2007 cars
*
rclxms.gif Welcome to the club!

my car is Apple Green too.
u got a nice deal there.

BTW, the car is 07 stock or showroom unit?

thanks bro. i started to fall in love with Savvy when i saw an Apple Green Savvy here in my flat, and since that time i had set my heart to get 1 myself. and some more got a very interesting deal and fit nicely in my installment budget of < rm500, so i just straight away booked it

among the 1st question i asked the salesman is whether the car is showroom car or not. he said that the car is a from 2007 stock, not a showroom car. he also mentioned that if they were to sale a showroom car, they'll need to declare it first
*
its indeed a very good deal then.
go for it rclxm9.gif

i still love my apple green biggrin.gif
its a unique color, very outstanding in carpark/highway

rm5000 voucher is applicable only to savvy?
not others?

nice suggestion, buy a complete tiara dat cost less than rm3k,
already save 2k.  laugh.gif
2007's stock,so,u should repair dat factory defect

i wonder is it ok if i sell kelisa 03 with savvy 07  hmm.gif
*
i read somewhere the 5k rebate only applies for Savvy hi-Line.
if the chassis number is below 35201, then u are included in the latest rear wheel bearing recall.

kelisa 03 should be quite tortured by now.
components rattling, power loss?

consider urself upgrading to Savvy then.
kelisa still can fetch quite a good price in market, so just top up some money to drive home with a new Savvy

hey guys,
today i tried test drive this car (amt one), i feel that when it engage to higher gear it will jerk abit, not so smooth like other auto car. is it a common thing?

for power i really like it, when testing there are 4 ppl in car but the acceleration is good thumbup.gif
*
the slight jerking is normal if you are not used to feathering the throttle in AMT.
coz AMT is basically a robotic arm to change the manual gears, not using torque converter(as in normal AT).

there are some techniques to reduce the jerkiness and try install VS for smoother drive.

u better ask properly like: 'can this car outrun the stock civic FD?' tongue.gif

yeah, believe it or not, a 1.2 car can trail behind a 1.8 car on a highway, but of course, HP does matters anyway. after 170km/h, the civic slowly pulling off tongue.gif
*
Aiyoh, how often u drive above 170km/h?
Got excess money to pay unlimited summonses?

owh ya...??
then y not take manual
*
Take manual, u may save yourself some minor problem.
But ultimately you will lose the fun of driving an AMT, the best of both AT/MT.

tongue.gif

Who can answer me? is it AMT even use auto or manual also same petrol?
*
for AMT, leave it in Auto mode for better FC since the computer will choose the right gear for u.
Ultimately, FC depends on ur right foot biggrin.gif

if u car selling value is less than 5k, joining scrap program will let u hv 5k discount for buying savvy. only for savvy la.
include price of trade in car o not?
if u old car selling value is more than 5k, better u sell it outside lor. hehe.

ya. SA said that 5k discount can be use as d/p.
ic ic. thinking to do that if got jerk with amt transmission. just donno where can get that fluid.
even i go back hmtown this weekend, wont b able to get that car fast la. maybe next week, but next week my xm start. sad.gif it seems after xm can only i drive it; around 24 may. sweat.gif

no need to rush when buying new car.
take ur time to examine the whole procedure so u won't get shortchanged.

BTW, ur future potential Savvy is year 08 model or year 07 model?
coz year 07 onwards, the AMT fluid has been rectified by manufacturer, so no worries.

You will feel anxious when waiting to get ur new car, enjoy it biggrin.gif

any diff btween 2007 and 2008 models???

actually not much difference.
2007 model means u r buying old stock lah,
the car has been kept at proton's factory for some time.

2008 models means new stock biggrin.gif
