boss apa itu subohm liao i kenot brain rclxub.gif

but if ure using mech mods, normal la. V=IR. lower resistance with constant voltage produces higher wattage which results in more heat emission. if ur using vv or vw mods u can always tune down the voltage to reduce the heat.

if u want to overcome the heat on mech mods, coil ur tank on higher resistance. or use weak batt or use kick on the mod would also reduce the heat.

Sub-ohm is referring to resistance of 1 ohm and below. I have friends who vapes on 0.5 - 0.6. tongue.gif

I'm using AWG 30 kanthal now. Might have to go out to get some 28 instead for micro coiling.
you should get 32 awg if you want smaller wire. 28 awg is thicker than 30 awg

For micro 28 AWG sounds right... 30 AWG also can, just that you need to go for 1/16 inch drill bit, which is 1.5mm

Use this website for ohm calculation: http://tomcatt2.com/pvapps.html

I find it useful but it will show 0.2 or 0.3 ohms higher than actual value, so use it only as a guideline

smaller wire = higher resistance..

if u on vvw devices, this is good as you need lesser wraps to get below 2.0ohm..

thicker wire = lower resistance, best on mech, on a vvw device, it'll take time to heat up unless u crank up the volt/watts and the risk of having burnt taste..

i dont see the point of using lower gauge wire with bigger diameter microcoil wraps, unless u r using big dripping tank such as trident, forge or igo-l, then justifiable but lesser wrap..

the purpose of doing microcoil is for vvw devices to achieve what mechs are achieving at lower ohms, at lower volts/watts..

my setting is simple, igo-s with 1.5mm diameter microcoil using temco 30awg 9wraps 1.5ohm at 9watts aw imr 18350 can last me until dinner if a fresh battery is inserted in the morning..

i'm done vaping at 1.0ohm, wanting a good battery life for 18350, works great on my trusty vamo, not bad on my eclipse mod...

Entry level ones AGA-T2 / RSST @Rm65/Rm90

I like the aga personally cos it's pyrex tank and u can use any juice without being afraid your tank will melt/crack.

But RSST is much easier to set up and fool proof.

Rsst a lil bit pricy but will definitely look into it, thanks! icon_rolleyes.gif

Another question... what model 18650 batteries recommended for mech mod? Until now still using the stock blue batteries, lol

RSST is really easy to setup though. AGA-T2 will be easy once you're used to setting it up but prolly needs 10-20 times of practice depending. It's gonna be a pain in the ass if you're new to agat.

Most highly rated ones are AW. Many mod makers also recommend AW batteries to go with their mods. But if you wanna opt for something cheaper, the runner up is Efest that cost about Rm10 cheaper.

AW 18650 @ Rm38-40
EFEST 18650 @ Rm28-30

Thanks once again notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

I don't think I will have any trouble with rsst or aga-t since I am currently using Cobra Clone, haha.

Want to change coz lately, for some reason, it will misfire... it seldom happens thou.

EDIT: Why it seems like no one uses Sanyo, Panasonic or Samsung batteries?
