At 1st I use Ego Twist... then after it spoil, I changed to Variable Voltage/Wattage... Still not satisfied, so sold it off and get my KTS mech mod now.

For some reason, mech mod feels so much better lol. And battery last longer.

But I have to agree with @BestInTheWorld ... At least get a stainless steel clone mod like Chi You, Nemesis, Avenger and Atom. They sell for less than RM100 nowadays.

just check the 510 connector material 1st. if i'm not mistaken both m16 and private v2 clones are using aluminium. the material is quite soft so it'll be easier to be loose in the future. try n look for ss material. just the 510 connector part.

if u use a normal battery, average resistance tanks without stacking batteries, ure safe.

Average resistance as in which level?

i started off with a k100 mod , x6 tank.

works like a charm until now.



Looking at the clone mods in the market nowadays , kinda make myself itchy wanting to buy one.

Chi You, Nemesis, Atomo , they all look nice with the right combination of tank.

0.8 above should be fine. 1 ohm n above to be safe. the most important thing is not to stack ur batts. lol

Thanks both for your advise. My IGO-W gets kind of hot sometimes when I chain vape and on the Vamo it gives a 02 error message making me paranoid that the battery will explode on my Chi You. I think I must have dropped my Vamo on the table too many times and it's starting to act up now.

safe side setup with 1.2ohm and above .. or try microcoil ..

I find that at 0.9-1.1 ohms is the sweet spot for me.

my 1.8 ohm microcoil setting on my genesis tank is as good as 0.8 ohm setting

igo w has 3 poles kan? not sure about the 02 error because i never used a vamo b4 but i think it should still be ok if the resistance is within that range. not sure about vamo's board but if the resistance is within that range on an evic and u use it constantly, sure evic board will kaput

I plan to as soon as I can go find a 2 - 3 mm drill bit or something of similar size.

The Vamo will refuse to fire if the resistance is below 1.2 ohms but due to my carelessness I have dropped it while putting it on table tops quite a few time so I guessed I might have knocked something loose inside.

Your resistance wire how much AWG? Old and small hardware stores usually got small drill bits. Remember to request for steel drilling one so can use to bore airholes as well.

wanna ask, u oll using low ohm or subohm, the mod will heat up very fast right

previously i using 2.5ohm.. then i changed to 1.6ohm.. the mod heat up faster compare 2.5ohm.. and the juice oso burn up faster

Can't overcome lol. Lower ohm = more heat = more vapor... so it should be hotter and use juice faster... also battery drain lot faster too

I'm using AWG 30 kanthal now. Might have to go out to get some 28 instead for micro coiling.

Like vccy118 said, U can't overcome it but at the correct settings, flavour and vape will be the best. Adjust air hole sizes to get the throat hit / vapor production ratio that you want.

but if ure using mech mods, normal la. V=IR. lower resistance with constant voltage produces higher wattage which results in more heat emission. if ur using vv or vw mods u can always tune down the voltage to reduce the heat.

if u want to overcome the heat on mech mods, coil ur tank on higher resistance. or use weak batt or use kick on the mod would also reduce the heat.
