oh i never remember their names! sorry benny for not respecting you.  notworthy.gif  tongue.gif

so it's regarding the brewers is it?
i think i agree with him that brewers in malaysia are now too expensive to buy. minimum growth with low yield, plus tax hike risk. i'd wish to see a 15-20% correction on brewers.  hmm.gif

Under your Jupiter system, at the Research, i think the paper is at yesterday or the day before's KLCI outlook icon_rolleyes.gif

Less than 60 days in MY per year... yeah I am classified as non-tax resident.. tongue.gif

This reminds me of my 4 yrs non resident stint in the 2000's.

Don't mean to be noisy, where do you go for the 365-60 days? Don't they then tax you as a foreigner in these countries? I assume China, Indonesia ...

Cheerio.

P/S I think mine was less than 160 (not 60) days in M'sia as I had 4 weeks on 4 weeks off.

as i am bad at timing the market, i guess i'll just stick to my simple strategy of buying/selling according to valuation. Every 15-20% up/down, consider to sell/buy according to valuation. biggrin.gif
my cash level has reduced to 40% now. sweat.gif

You mean if got 15-20% paper profit, you will materialize it? And if the stock got 15-20% 'discount' according to your valuation you will buy it?

of course it all depends on market sentiment too. basically, i do it opposite the market sentiment: bad, i buy. good, i sell.
and most importantly, it all according to fundamental valuation.
just sharing. biggrin.gif

China: Starts investigation to ensure accuracy of economic data. China said
it will start an investigation to ensure the accuracy of data filed by companies as
part of efforts to improve the reliability of statistics in the world's second-largest
economy. There is an urgent need to prevent fraud in data submission, National
Bureau of Statistics head Ma Jiantang was cited by China Information News.
Those found submitting inaccurate information for major statistics may be
"severely punished," the newspaper, published by the bureau, reported without
citing anyone. (Source: Bloomberg)

I like China more and more. I had increased investment for China play (in HKSE + local xinhua ETF) from 1% last year to 8% today. icon_rolleyes.gif

In fact, if the execution goes well, china companies listed abroad may get back their fair valuation. For now, in HKSE, they already trading at fair value (ie. 7-9x), while in Bursa and Singapore, they are trading at depressing valuation. hmm.gif
fyi, I have zero holding on local red-chips at the moment. Need to see more results from China first. cool.gif

Sharebuy back cannot affect the shares in your portfolio.

Check with your remiser, it might be forced sell for some reason... or merely a portfolio glitch.
