bought a little cimbc25 to play HK rebound with eyes closed.

sold the additional cmmt bought at 1.6x for fast trading. free kfc.

today seems more towards technical rebound than bullish. expecting more corrections or sidelines ahead.

most stocks that rebound are at their close to lowest daily range. sellers still a lot. just funds are supporting. just my view.

i think i agree with him that brewers in malaysia are now too expensive to buy. minimum growth with low yield, plus tax hike risk. i'd wish to see a 15-20% correction on brewers.

next week should see a better picture. since this week more like TA rebound and windows dressing period.

as i am bad at timing the market, i guess i'll just stick to my simple strategy of buying/selling according to valuation. Every 15-20% up/down, consider to sell/buy according to valuation.
my cash level has reduced to 40% now.

of course it all depends on market sentiment too. basically, i do it opposite the market sentiment: bad, i buy. good, i sell.
and most importantly, it all according to fundamental valuation.
just sharing.

I like China more and more. I had increased investment for China play (in HKSE + local xinhua ETF) from 1% last year to 8% today.

In fact, if the execution goes well, china companies listed abroad may get back their fair valuation. For now, in HKSE, they already trading at fair value (ie. 7-9x), while in Bursa and Singapore, they are trading at depressing valuation.
fyi, I have zero holding on local red-chips at the moment. Need to see more results from China first.

Me too. I'll just leave the numbers job to IBs and let them earn the 1st round, I follow on 2nd or 3rd round.

many property stocks got staircase downwards. is this the sign of dangerous? or just sidelines?

saving the interest is actually saving the real money right? so normally how long nowadays that people need to pay for the interest before giving keys to move in? 2 years?

true. when we talk about housing price, there is no feeling on few thousands difference.

good point. So for moderate developers, this will help to sell. For reputable developers, no effect.

panamy also quite strong. reits were sold down but far from as heavy as S-REITs.
bursa is really a damn defensive market to trade. While bull, defensive stays defensive, high beta stays beta. All lives.
local funds are in all better stocks here. so they don't sell, market don't down. if they sell, they buy what? they have no choice but to keep.
