But you could try.. depend on bank i think...

I open my FD account 7.25% for 1 year @ Bank BTPN, which is LPS protected

Here big banks and small banks can difference by 100% ... bigger bank is deemed more secure hence able to low their FD rate. Smaller banks need more money hence give high rate and other promotion to attract deposits.

Current OPR is 6.25%

Why need go so far? We also have "Little Hatyai" right in the middle of Klang Valley nowadays brows.gif
