single tier no need declare

S108 divvy u can choose not to declare if u lazy claim the rebate
*
So I don't want to declare. Lazy to check one by one. This is actually my first year declaring income tax with some dividend in my CDS. Usually my mum will declare for her CDS.

Section 108 dividend = Need to declare to claim/offset against your tax payable
Single-tier dividend = No need to declare

Please take note to keep all the supporting document of dividend income, just in case in future u need to buy property or car and receive a "Love Letter" from LHDN laugh.gif
*
I've got the letter last 2 years, asking me to bring the receipt for few years. So, I just submit and get the stamping on the receipt as well as the BE form.

Letter ask me bring all the receipts only. Not sure is it because of property or not, but it was directly after I bought my first property.

Actually. there is no law to say you do not need to declare your incomes just because u  are not taxed more like Dividends .

But people do make their own judgements not to declare .......
*
If I declare, means have to pay extra income tax already, right? hmm.gif

Government saved up RM1bil overall, if not mistaken
Definitely relate to property, they already got your tax paid record in their system
*
Anyway, I never "lari" before. Never fake the claims, so, no issue on my part. At least I still can claim the house interest relieve in income tax. I know there are many who was fined because of this "relieve"

No , it is just  a form of notification...

No incomes declared would be " double"  tax in law.
*
Ooo.....Maybe next year will notify....if I know which column to put.

Last month just received letter from IRB... ask me to pay next year's income tax in 12 month installment...  they call it scheduled tax, based what they estimate i need to pay in 2014.

Like this also can. Not yet receive income ask to pay tax first. ... vmad.gif  vmad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif
*
I've been paying in advance since I grad. I think it is standard process and I found it is a good way to do so, to prevent people from feeling heartache when want to part with the money during income tax time.

hmm.gif No DIBS, the house can sell lower...............but the buyer need to effort 2-3 years interest

actually is same
*
Which is a good thing to curb speculation. If the seller intend to sell the house at breakeven, at least still need to cover the interest, but, then, he needs to find a buyer who is willingly to do so. If not, those holding and buying in bulk, will be pissing in their pants. The longer they hold, the higher price they need to sell, and the lower likelihood of selling at breakeven/profit.

Give example to a 500k house.

2% is 10k, 8% which is 40k is rebate.

SPA will still be stating 500k.

Maybe 500k interest is around 30k for 3 years (approx)

Then need bank penalty and bla bla.. Haha
Dunno is good thing or bad thing to buy new launch anot..
*
Which is why I say good to curb speculation. Nowadays people think that buy property (new launch) just pay some deposit, (eg. RM5K, about 1% of the property price) and then sell at 20% higher and earn. Without DIBS, property "investment" won't be easy anymore.

Well, if you ask me, I think it makes sense also since I also don't know where I should put my cash besides putting into FD or into my loan account.
