Can , make sure it's docomo unlocked , not software unlocked as some dealers there are doing . As for updates , u need a docomo sim to update so u need 2 send your phone back to Japan to update it . That's the most troublesome part . And Docomo phones quite a number of bloatwares , something we cant use since we r not on Docomo sim . Unless u root it , u cant remove it but then again , root is already out for Xperia ZU

can the new owners comment on the battery life (once you guys have broken in new device la)?

especially useful will be comparison against other big phones. maybe there are note2 users who has upgraded?
