sony is getting some real action this year with their products

yeah... won't

and yes, sony has been real busy this year, rolling out lots of worthy new models, as well as a whole lot of software updates in the pass 2 months. i'd say they are definitely getting into the game!

looks like sony phone generate lots of interest here which is a good thing for consumer

well they do bring in new "blood" to the game

their previous SE type is good designe (stand out) but lacking the hardware side

now they sort of caught up and showing their might in both design and strength wise

not exactly giving all-under-the-sun, sink including like samsung
but they are more towards selecting their battlefield

Right, previously their model all using old generation processor. Now they are the first batch using snapdragon 800.

It might be a prototype..but don't expect the end product to be any different in terms of design. It looks to employ the same design philosophy as the ZU with the metal frame with slightly rounded edges, the same magnetic?docking pins and typical sony flaps. I say its pretty legit.

Actually I wonder what is so good about Sony phones?

I previously used Samsung S1, which is a total crap
Then I jump to HTC Sensation XE, which is quite good
Then to HTC One X, so-so... at least better than S3 in terms of software UI.
Then to HTC One, which is wow... unbelievable amazingly incredible phone.

So far haven tried Sony phones yet.

As i mentioned in previous page, no one really know how good Sony is until they use it themself
For me it has the best and smoothest animation UI (not anymore with Sense 5 now ). Sleek and beautiful style as well.

^ not sure about others, but for me once we go Sony we can never go back

my last Sony phone is Xperia S

Mine is Xperia Neo before i jump to Padfone and HTC One. But i still keep my Neo with me and flash custom rom on it happily

My current is still Xperia Ray...i skipped all the latest Sony phones since they dropped Sony Ericsson, was late to the XZ party too..instead i got myself the tablet Z

Samsung S1 is the Worst android phone I have ever used. Even HTC HD2 on android is better.
Using this as example to say Samsung doesn't make good phones could be wrong. I gave up wanting to use another Samsung. However it's successor S2 redeem its failures. Try Note2 which I still say is best Samsung phone I have used to date. I won't say is perfect n there is no perfect phone yet but this score highly with me till today

+1 for the Note 2, still one of the best until Note 3.

HTC One the best for phone niche, Note 2 for phablet niche.

but, phone and phablet gonna collide, when 5 incher is not consider as a big screen phone anymore with so many 6 inched around. when screen race come into a threshold, i think the future might be something like google glass.. the "super wide" screen is just a small screen in front of your eye ball, and maybe a device on your palm which will just serve as a "joystick/controller" for the glass.

i wish i was rich enuf to buy 1 of this
