but got the sweet news from company men and oim that it starts this weekend for the drilling team.at least i get to go home with my stomach contents intact hahah

4- pcsb. heard some of the move there also but dont know when.

imo la, 2.7k is a decent salary. they will send you for trainings, offshore etc. and when youre at one of the 3 rigs they are currently operating(presuming you are in the drilling side) you are bound to get some sort of allowance.

but most importantly is the name petrofac wch will add more weight to your resume, it wont do much now but imagine after 2 years, a few wells here and there. and thats just a small figure im giving. take the a lengthier time period, per say 5 years and youll be pulling in some massive $$$$ the next destination comes knocking.

thats my opinion la. based on my own exp, i did jump after a short period, but i gained better terms/salary/etc for that short period i stayed with my previous comp and the opportunity was right.

just when we thought the chopper troubles are over.

hmm gemusut-kakap....either down there is a bigggggg oil/gas reservoir which surpasses any thing weve encountered in our waters before or the coffers are just spending money out of boredom which came from them having too much money

burning the midnight oil here at one of their oldies rig here . tho 1 of them is set to be cut loose soon

huisshh who said Petrofac no project/job.

just finished a bunch of wells for them and 2/3 is on paper for the next 10 days, and none of them are at completion stage at the current location im in(CDW - 9 slots in total).

completion is scheduled for next year by the way.

and on top of that to the port side is JP Bussel and to the starboard side is Trident9. all 3 rigs also drilling steadfast tho one of em is shown the door by end of sept.

plenty of job/projects for Petrofac.
