And its Israel lol. laugh.gif

Actually, most of the oil exporting Middle-East countries have procured modern fighters as well from the US/UK, and France. Its just that their pilots as well as support personnel are nowhere near as capable as Israel's.

Saddam once had the most powerful armies in the Arab world, 5th largest globally to be precise, with modern weapons armed and supplied by both the US and USSR. But then Iran-Iraq war came and exposed that his soldiers mostly dunno how to operate the technologies.

Nowadays most Middle East countries keep buying weapons from US & EU, but inside they are just paper tigers. We all know that nod.gif People who aren't sure how to build robust economies if fight a protract war will ended up like the USSR (i.e. financial ruin)

Its not a matter of aircraft only....

saudi may get the technology but if their pilots suck they'll be like any arab/middle east country that faces up to the West/Israel.

indon haze >>> all

Yes the ultra best weapon. Kills slowly, not just human but economic as well. Does not need high workforce and low cost to deploy. And no country can retaliate because haze is not classified as biological weapon. Indo has the best weapon.

sheer number gives an advantage to a certain point only... training counts a lot

if u study the Arab Israel Six Day war, due to extensive training of the ground crew, a single Israel aircraft can sortie up to 4 times per day, compared to 1~2 times per day for the Arab air forces... hence Israel total dominance of the air and near total destruction of the Egyptian/Syrian air force...

Singapore allocates and spend so much more in military than Malaysia. Yet economic-wise they are still better?

Crazy does not necessarily mean combat effective. It just means they are crazy.
