I am guessing this will turn into something of a "if u are not of the same faith with me you will rot in hell" kinda scenario...

I have few questions but maybe ill start one by one so not to confuse.

If catholic marry buddhist and want to wedding in church, is it need to attend a course for 1 year?

The buddhist is not convert to catholic. Still remain buddhist but just 1 to make the wedding in church.

both me and my dad didn't attend any, but some may do it to please the partner. in many ways, it is entirely up to the couple, for us, the question of why need to go n attend course since you are not going to convert? if you think you are not going to change ur faith, then my honest reply is that u do not need to attend coz you will be lying to urself and ur current faith, end up u become a hypocrite smile.gif

Couples must register with the parish church for CMPC course. Not one year, just few weeks only. Attend the course, obtain certificate then can pick your wedding date. Book the church and everything. You still need to do civil registration.

Can. Same for everyone. Catholic and non-catholic. Both must attend the CMPC course.
