I don't think it has anything to do with casing not covering top cover.
Mine casing don't cover the edges as well.  hmm.gif

That's why I'm thinking to send warranty.

QUOTE(aloy88 @ Jul 6 2013, 07:57 AM)
My phone also black. Accidentally dropped. Got one minor chip =(

Looking for a flip type casing which can cover the front screen n also the top n bottom part.

So far the HTC one original flip cover features all this.

Any other recommendation ?
*
seido case I ordered... Pending shipment. It cover top part as well

haha, sure it is but not currently possible. full aluminium body will cause low signals or no signals pass through..6k battery capacity and pureview on 5 inch phone, probably cause it to be fat..and dual boot..require a cpu architecture that can handle both OS.. tongue.gif would be a dream come through if it is possible now.. in future probably..

Can I still receive 4.2.2 OTA update while in S-OFF mode?
Or must I S-ON it back?
*
hmm..i think you can if u stick to the stock rom..but im not sure what will happen after OTA..
will it locked your bootloader or etc etc???
..anyone else please correct me if im wrong..

btw, since you are s-off why not try custom rom..

OTA will not remove S-Off and will not lock your bootloader. Just make sure you have stock recovery when installing OTA or it will fail.

Haha, if this happened, the manufacturer won't have a new flagship phone to sell the following year....

That's why HTC made the 2 plastic strips on the back that makes radio signals as strong as usual, and NFC works too.

I disagree on the signal is as strong... HTC one reception is very unstable
This is where the plastic reign I must say

Lol, try compare it with plastic phone, it is not any stronger, esp the galaxy
Anyway aluminium is proven to hinder signal .... Compared to a whole slabs of plastic that have no interference at all

Approximately it should take them around 14 days to complete the inspection thingy. Personally for me it was 2 weeks in total from the moment they picked it up via courier till they sent it back via courier too. What you need to do is to call them up everyday if you can. Good luck!

HoX is plastic... sleep.gif Full aluminum of course. But you can go and read the reviews where they tested phone signals and the dba ratings compared to HoX are the same or slightly better.

And what did HTC did to boost signal? They inject plastic to aluminium frame to boost signal
highest rating of DBA count for nothing, it's the consistency....
A minor group of people even reporting the grip of death on one, YouTube it
Anyway it is acceptable for me but definitely not as good as my s3, and I'm using the multi sim, so no dispute on the operator or different number

You must give it to them in terms of hardware

That's why I said, the plastic on the HTC One helps with the signal, so what are you complaining about? That was my whole point in saying that the plastic strips on the phone really helps with the signal, cos a full metal body will probably radiate signal heat on itself. Signal has been way more consistent on my HO compared to my HoX, Sensation XE, Desire Z and XpressMusic 5800.

You still miss my point, nvm since you can't even diff the point I'm pointing out to complaining..... HTC phone all the way huh...
