how many dead pixel?
you can only exchange for a new one if only have 3 or more dead pixels.
*
I believe it's more than 3, since it's perfectly visible in normal viewing distance. You don't have to squint your eyes to look for it. Yeah that bad lol. blush.gif

Since I saw so many people sending in their H1 to Service Center for 1 to 1 exchange, Let me share my experience.

Sent in on May 28th if not mistaken. The staff WILL DEFINITELY told you your phone will be ready in around 3 days.

Then, one week passed. Called them and they told me my phone status is still PENDING, no UPDATES from the service center.

p/s the hotline you called is HTC cust. care.. not the service center.  So, if you want to speed up your process, all they can do is just e-mail the service center. In other words, i think it is useless. UNLESS, you are able to reach the higher level management like @Kurogane does.

The Cust. Care staff will give you all sort of answers to you. Ie: Sir, your phone is waiting to be shipped from Taiwan Sir. Sir, usually one-to-one exchange takes 2 WEEKS sir. Sir, we have to confirm whether your phone is eligible for one-to-one exchange..... WTF?

2 weeks passed.. I can't tolerate anymore. Went all the way to Kelana Jaya from Bangsar. And the Service Center said my phone is at Kastam.. It was a relief.. BUT, i am still unable to get it.. I DON'T KNOW WHY it takes 1 week to take the parcel from Kastam to HTC.

LAST, I receive my phone after ""3 WEEKS"""

So guys, don't expect you will receive in 3 days, 1 week, etc.

But, one thing is, your phone is manufactured right after u send for one-to-one exchange, which is very efficient. Mine and Kurogane phone is manufactured 3 days after sent in to htc.

Good luck!
*
Holy shit. Now that's scary. How to tell if it's manufactured three days or two days? Just called the call centre, they couldn't tell me anything as of today yet. Said they'll call me once there's any updates lol...

I really do hope that their supply issues won't be that bad anymore, knowing the fact that they already improvised a lot in terms of production. blush.gif Tough luck for some of us who got the defective units. sad.gif

Just drive down to their Kelana Jaya service center and complain to them. They shoudl offer 1-to-1 replacement as long as your receipt is valid and within seven days of purchase.

Haha, I'm one of the unluckiest user of this phone. Sent it on 20th of may. went to the center twice to remind them about my phone. if you want it fast, you go there, ask them to contact the warranty provider (SIS or Brightstar) and ask when will they sent your phone. Then wait there till get reply. else they will slack off and do nothing.
*
Lol...man. I wish I frequent those areas. Pretty hard to find time to travel all the way to KL just for this. Just called the call centre today, said that the assessment takes between 7-14 working days. Today is the 6th day. I guess I'll take Kurogane's advice and pressure them everyday. They said they'll call me today but they didn't. Today they said they'll call me tommorow or Friday, but guess I'll just have to initiate myself. Hopefully yours is perfect or almost perfect by now bro! biggrin.gif

haha, I bought a new one due to late of service center which is quite perfect.. this one gonna sell it out. I did pressure then in HTC careline, Email, and FB page.. haha.. end up getting higher management to call me for follow up(I think its the HTC from Philippine) ..but after 1 week still no news, I go there and pressure the center. Wasted almost RM 80 just for travelling twice to the center..tomorrow need to fetch again used up RM 40 more..staying in Nilai >"<
*
Lol. Don't really have the budget to do so. Whoa to that extent eh. Do you mind sharing their email address? It would certainly help to speed things up. If from Nilai it costs you RM40 I can only imagine how much it will be from Melaka all the way there lol. Do keep us updated with your good news tomorrow. Good luck! rclxms.gif
