- At rumored* height of 682m including spire, it will be one of the tallest office building in the world. However, depending on its completion, several cities including neighboring Jakarta are building as tall as Warisan or taller. In comparison, Petronas Twin Towers are 452m in total height.

Imagine Park Hyatt and Donald Trump come to KL to have landmarks....

to tap the growing super-rich population... but

ermm dono where the super rich tenants, stayers and tourists are coming from?


(we need some super-rich from China, Indonesia, India, Taiwan and Iran... and maybe Kazakhstan!)

World class retailers will converge here too. (and another cluster behind at Tun Razak Exchange/TRX - connected by a middle cluster believed to be future Pudu Jail redevelopment)

Do you guys think this part of KL will be revisited in terms of booming?


Many many plots are having plans now. Most banks in the old part of KL are gonna refurbish starting with UOB Pudu. Then we have River of Life, Petronas Dayabumi redevelopment and revival of Plaza Rakyat... and a special tunnel walkway that goes like this:

Meanwhile, he said, PNBMV was looking to defer the launch of the residential towers, originally slated for the end of this year, to Q4 of 2021.

PNB president and group chief executive, Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn further told Bernama that Phase 3 which encompasses three residential towers is due for completion in 2024/2025.

Phase 1 and 2 of Permodalan Nasional Bhd's (PNB) iconic Merdeka 118 precinct are expected to be ready by the second quarter (Q2) of 2022 instead of end 2021 as initially targeted, following delays caused by the Movement Control Order in light of Covid-19.

The upcoming Merdeka 118, formerly known as KL118, is on track to be completed by the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, according to Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) group chairman Tan Sri Dr Zeti Aziz.

Despite facing a delay in the construction process during the Movement Control Order (MCO) that started on March 18 last year, Zeti expected at least two to three months of extension for the project.

"The building has reached level 118, with a facade at level 99. We are very pleased with this progress," she told reporters after PNB's financial year 2020 virtual briefing on Thursday.

Meanwhile, PNB president and group chief executive officer Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn said the group is currently in advanced discussions with a number of “large” domestic and international corporations on being a co-anchor together with PNB for the Merdeka 118 building.

"We have a significant portion of the high floors being taken up by the Park Hyatt Hotel that will open next year.

Hearsay 1700-1800psf. Nearby opus can get good subsales deals or Belfield Tower A also good pricing below half. But this warisan residences is directly within Merdeka and above all the action.

Opus at 1kpsf auction could be a better bet but must have holding power n willing to wait minimum 1.5 years from now to see any improvement.
