Change? You mean upgrade?

ya... the biggest deciding factor to me is

1. camera quality (front and back also, and daytime / low light performance)
2. battery life

these features will decide me to change or not.... others features is not relevant to me...

Yes I will, I never skip any iPhone generation before lol. If you haven't have iPhone now, you can buy secondhand first. Sell it when new one launching here.

It will be around Nov/Dec when launch here, so still long way to go.

yaya dont bother about the scratch la mine also scratch until it look like a china phone

Yours white colour? I find scratches seem to be less obvious and easier to cover up (use marker) on the black version. If white version, it's so obvious cause of the shine. I used to think it was the other way round, but seems not. lol.

If they maintain camera quality (don't really have to make it better), also very good enough already. No Android phone so far to me can even come close to iPhone 5 now in terms of perfect exposure, white balance and natural colours. smile.gif

Battery life, Apple will just make it slightly bigger because there really is no need for a much bigger battery due to efficiency of hardware power consumption and iOS superior power management among all OS now. After all, my iPhone 5 super-small-battery can least nearly as long as my Android large-battery phones like Note II, etc. And after testing iOS 7 Beta myself, the iOS is even more battery efficient.

If follow back last year, we need to wait until December for 5S to be officially launched here. That's still a really LONG wait. laugh.gif

Same here, didn't skip any iPhone generation. The upgrade is always worth it cause it makes the superb apps available to perform even better. I still cry for Android cause I love their hardware but they can't produce apps with superb fluid interface, usage, deep-level integration such as iOS now. I just wish Google could make it easier for developers by coming out with a more robust Android OS, perhaps they need to even build from the ground up (seriously!).

i not whine much about battery life (talktime)... if 3G/GPS/LTE got 80%-120% increase (6-10 hours) will be killer anyway lol...

Hi all, i suspect my iphone 5 seems to be having some minor wifi connection issue;

1. but only when connect to office internal wifi (need special pass&login), it will disconnect soon after auto lock.
2. when connect to house wifi (unifi) can have stable connection, no disconnect.

my other frens in office using samsung all have stable connection, will not disconnect.

i compare to my ipad mini..tested with my office wifi, even after sleep the wifi still connected even after lock sleep.

should i send for warranty?

I bought my iPhone last week and there seems to be problem with the 3G connection. I called the service centre and they asked me to bring the phone for the technicians to check and if it's really the phone's problem, they will do 1 to 1 replacement but it will take about 5-7 working days and I have to surrender my existing iPhone to them. I don't have any spare phone to use and now this happens, so frustrating.

Problem with the 3G is that when the signal is lost for maybe few minutes, it will not reappear again. Only solution is to restart the phone. Not even airplane mode helps. Hopefully it's just a software problem and ios7 fixes it.
