And last question, is it okay to run with an iphone attached to your arm? Does it look weird to you?

You are looking at shopping malls or Apple authorized dealers?

I bought my armband from the authorized dealer in Low Yat Plaza.

It is OK to run with the iPhone attached to your arm but snatch thief is a concern thus i would advise you to wrap the armband at the arm which is facing away from the street (if you are running at streets) but if you are running in a dedicated stadium or your local park, it should be fine. It's not easy to remove the iPhone from your arm as fast snatching a handbag because the armband is secured quite tightly.

It will not look weird provided that you are in the proper attire however one point to note though, you can feel "constricted" (maybe it is just me) BUT if you have to attend to your iPhone every 5 minutes then get it.

My biggest persuasion to get an armband is because the iPhone is "dragging" my shorts down little by little with every step i jogged and the earpod cords which can occasionally interferes with your hand movements.

Whatever it is, unless it makes you feel very uncomfortable having the iPhone in your short's pocket then i think you should just keep it there. It proves to have more pros than cons.
