There are less fraud in the West, therefore they don't need OTP and can directly charge to cards. All they need is a credit card number generator.

This said, it's also possible that your details were somehow compromised somewhere.

If reluctant to give any document, then pledge FD minimum 5k. Based on what I learned from Affin, if record is clean, they will approve. My record is clean, so, approved. I presume RHB followed the same SOP as Affin.

in most cases, you don't get to see same day transactions on websites, unless they are using the same bank as acquirer. That also depends if the bank reflects it immediately. If you look at your statement, cashback etc are timestamped 1 day before statement. but they never show up until statement date or the day after (I don't remember the exact one).
