On the same visit, I asked to take a look at the Satria Neo. The SA told me the tradeplates are taken by the runner so I can only test drive in the compound (the compound is shared with a Mitsu and VW showroom.). I was of course disappointed, but what the heck, I said why not.
The SA went to the back and bring out the manual Neo to the front door for me.....wahlau, seeing the car already made my knees weak.

As mentioned, the test drive was slow and brief, but the one thing that stood out to me was how meaty the steering was....thick and stiff

. Driving position was spot on, clutch was nicely progressive, shifting does not feel rubbery like the BLM at all (though I only got as high as 3rd gear).
According to the SA, for an extra RM3k (on top of the OTR RM61k), the car can be sent to R3 for the R3 ECU, exhaust and tuning.
Times like this makes me wish that I'm a certain Korean who works in the manufacturing sector.
