QUOTE(antt00 @ Jul 3 2013, 05:18 PM) Anyone tried yandex shell launcher Honestly, after the whole PRISM affair, having all your stuff going to Uncle Sam is bad enough. Perhaps even Marehsian NSA... so now let's add Russian NSA to the mix ......https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...ZGV4LnNoZWxsIl0. Its like a free version of SPB shell 3D and it should be available in English now. ======================= Well, more Note 3 rumours: Galaxy Note III rumoured to have 3GB of RAM http://www.sammobile.com/2013/07/03/galaxy...ave-3gb-of-ram/ This is the 2nd rumor on this, perhaps a bit more credible after the LG G2 is also quoted to have 3Gb. |

BTW, after having used Perseus kernel with that color correction feature and now having switched to full stock (rooted), the color contrast is pretty jarring. Oversaturation

Anyone here been using the X-posed Framework and its associated modules? I am thinking of beefing up the section in post 8 for it.

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jul 3 2013, 07:23 PM) Yeah thats why i can never go back to it. Yes that is what I intend to do, just add a few of the more useful XDA module links, coz the VillainROM site is no longer available. I find that having Xprivacy, Tweakbox and Greenify make for good enough customisations. I use it to change icon and had played with exposed app settings. Frankly its pretty straight forward as it is configured using apps and not script or anything difficult. Not sure what u can write about it apart from giving links to each module.

QUOTE(xgnesh93 @ Jul 3 2013, 08:56 AM) How to check whether Note 2 is prone to SDS, I have reading from post 1, but I bit of confuse..Care to explain.. Thanks There's some code, perhaps on the S3 forum, that you can key into your keypad that shows you the Board Revision number. I don't recall what it is. But you can also install EMMC Check from the Play Store and it will tell you if your chip is affected. If it is there is nothing you can do about it, but you can mitigate it by updating to any of the 4.1.2 ROMs after February.========================================

Top 10 best smartphones for June 2013
http://androidheadlines.com/2013/07/top-10...13-edition.html GN2 is NUMBER 4 ...The Note II really took off when it was launched with improved S-Pen functions and on ever major US carrier. It’s screen resolution and CPU are perhaps ageing a little bit now but, what matters here is that the Note II is still the only device that makes an argument for a larger device, with its added S-Pen and the features that Samsung have thrown in here. If you’re looking for a device that’s a little bigger, and that you really can do everything on, then this is the device for you. It’s available on every carrier and it’ll be updated for some time to come. |

QUOTE(btfan @ Jul 3 2013, 11:12 PM) Which specific option in Triangle Away? I don't think I have seen anything like that in TA. You could weigh the pro of possible improved battery life vs the con of possible screwed up EFS. If you are not a flashoholic, then I suppose you can just go ahead and wait for other versions. This OTA mentioned something about fixing the battery drain in 4.1.2 hence my interest in it. QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Jul 3 2013, 11:17 PM) Yes i am ditching DMF2 Wanamlite v3.8. Running for cover in case shit happens. |

I just saw the new S4 ad of that guy travelling round the world and sending pics to his mama.... they were showing off the pics with sound clip...... isn't that what Zoe was supposed to be for the HTC One ?
So the HTC One just made a software gimmick for as a unique selling point? I'm not belittling the HTC1 for its build aesthetics, but having a software only feature that doesn't have a corresponding hardware enabler and touting it as unique is silly. At least the unique selling points for the Galaxy series, and especially the Note, are hardware related functions that are enhanced by the software. |

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Jul 3 2013, 11:56 PM) How much has the note 2 sold worldwide till.now already, i realize sammy hasnt really said anything unless i missed something? I would say likely more than Note 1, but strangely they're not saying anything. However it must be REALLY GOOD numbers otherwise there wouldn't be THREE contenders this year. This post has been edited by joytest: Jul 4 2013, 12:04 AM |

Hi all,
XDA now has a kind of automated ROM DB like the [INDEX] thread and also my list. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdispl...?f=1790#romList However I do not know how they are going to list all ROMs, as currently there are only 3 entries there. |
