back from work. so, some more photos!
![]() ![]() Southbridge block for MVF, made of a delrin top and a nickel plated brass baseplate, with a finish unlike any other. Mounts to the motherboard using four screws, though I think you only need to use 2? I'm not sure coz I don't own an MVF. |

I got permission from the owner to take everything apart, so I got some photos of the internals as well.
![]() ![]() ![]() You can actually see the finish quality of the nickel plating. And that the delrin/acetal/POM top has a pattern on it. Screws are easily removed with hex screw heads. All screws are made of non-magnetic stainless steel, M3/M4 sized. ps. ignore the orange tint. It's from my curtains. This post has been edited by pristine: Jun 21 2013, 06:39 PM |

QUOTE(CCubeHL @ Jun 21 2013, 07:22 PM) Lack of market response and awareness, and high price point. QUOTE(nohal @ Jun 21 2013, 08:29 PM) Maybe I need to see and test other brand for radiators. Only XSPC so far. Same thing for me in choosing blocks, EKWB amazed me. Owh, and koolance's product is heck of an awesome too! QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Jun 21 2013, 08:33 PM) Koolance stuff are great. Excellent finish quality and packing methods. Only silly part is the actual box that holds everything is flimsy once you take everything out.QUOTE(kizwan @ Jun 21 2013, 08:36 PM) Haha! Have fun. |

Ok. Last set!
These pieces make up the mosfet water block. 'L' shaped, POM body and nickel plated brass base plates. splits into 4 pieces. Instead of one large POM piece, it's split into two halves and then put back together. Probably done this way for easy manufacturing of the block. POM pieces are again textured on the insides. Screws are all non-magnetic stainless steel, M3/M4 size. Unlike other water blocks where the base plate for the mosfet is one large 'L' piece, MIPS made two individual pieces for the each set of mosfet rows. ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by pristine: Jun 22 2013, 02:36 PM |

QUOTE(nohal @ Jun 23 2013, 08:49 PM) G1/4" Deep Blood Red Rotary 90-Degree IG1/4" Extender BP-DBR90R LOL. I don't wanna rebut la. btw, you still need to confirm whether you want the flow indicator. Leank Maybe you can get this too. G1/4" Carbon Black Temperature Sensor Stop Fitting BP-CBWP-CT Leank I'm very certain I've seen it in bold red. But, if you can't get the bold red, get the carbon black. Duhh, its located in single rotary. Other color located in extender. Cmon2, rebut this customer. See who can give lowest price. |

QUOTE(e-jump @ Jun 24 2013, 07:47 PM) sup folks You can always use one of those things EK has to mount reservoirs using the 5.25 bays.So i already got my radiator installed. Now i need opinion on pump placement and reservoir. Im interested to to use cylinder type of reservoir. But considering i'll be placing my dvdrom on top bay, I only have like 12cm long cylinder res i can use to make the cylinder holder balanced and can mount at the 5.25 drv bay screw holes. between EK 150 and Koolance 150 tube, which one a better option? or bay res a better option? currently i dont plan to use bayres as i want my front case to have 3 fan intake look. And any idea where is the best place to mount a D5 pump? drill holes on the mobo tray and mount it?. I prefer not to place it on the floor to keep my loop short. My rad in/outlet is on top. [attachmentid=3502917] [attachmentid=3502918] As for the D5, maybe can figure out a way to mount on the fans? |

QUOTE(ijatneda @ Jun 27 2013, 10:59 AM) Hi all sifus, Just tighten as much as the fittings allow it. Too much and the o-rings will be flattened, too little and the fitting will leak.Newbie in watercooling and just getting started. I am using compressing fitting, do i need to tighten the fitting at rad or wb using playar or just enough using my hand only?afraid it will leak if not tight enough. |
