I would like to ask , is XSPC RS 240 kit worth investing in? This will be my first water-cooling rig.
The casing i'm currently using is Xigmatek Asgard 382 , does the radiator able to mount on top of my casing with the fan push setup? I scare it will have clearance issue? Any sifu can help? Since i'm located in Kuching , not much shop do water-cooling, and no local shop sell XSPC Kit , so i need to order from KL. |

QUOTE(shin6619 @ Jun 17 2013, 07:54 PM) Ya, when I change the mobo, I slowly take out whole wc loop...so heavy !! Exspecialy the gpu wb!! Luckily done it smoothly No overclocking , actually i planned to install watercooling just for good looking reason thought. What i scare is it touches the capacitor on the motherboard. Actually i called Niclasteoh for quotation of a custom watercooling kit , + installation etc roughly would be around RM700+ which is out of my budget thought. My budget was around RM600+/-, the kit would cost RM500 and shipping here would cost roughly RM30 (assumption) , installation charge by Niclasteoh RM65 exclude coolant yet, so the main problem here actually was my casing and side issue is my budget problem.U got oc or no? if no, u wont notice any different. ValityMental is the kit you're intersted in using a Raystorm block or a Rasa block?
If it's using a Rasa block, it won't do much for your looks, if you ask me, anyway. Why not consider Swiftech's AIO solution instead? Works like a proper custom kit, but installs like a regular cooler, IIRC. Looks pretty mean too. |

QUOTE(ValityMental @ Jun 17 2013, 08:22 PM) Yeah. Haha. Thanks for the clarification If you plan on buying the kit from WM, buy from APES or Cyntrix Technologies. They have better tubing options. You can ask for Clearflex/XSPC Premium tubing from Cyntrix or Primochill Advance LRT from APES. These are one of the better ones around. I know , heard lots of them saying it's bad. I will grab the clear tube from Niclasteoh , if i'm not mistaken 1m is like rm20+/- . And i just need to buy distilled water and dye for it. Then i'm ready to go If you buy from Cyntrix, I think he's got a custom XSPC starter kit so you totally won't get the stock XSPC tubing at all. And if your clearance is only about 25mm, you will need to either: 1. Change case 2. Mount radiator elsewhere or externally Good fans are typically 25mm so yeah.
