This time round when you drain and fill your loop. filter your coolant. Use cheesecloth or something really fine to filter out whatever in your fluid. Then flush your loop a couple of times before filling back up.

You forgot how the clog came in first place eh? Sure the dirt still in your coolant la bro. If there's dirt or any sort of foreign material, you need to change your coolant.

i already use a filter paper which use as tea bag to filter the coolant already. damn dirty doh.gif

Double filter? when you drain and when you fill back. change the filter once saturated. if you want cheap solution, use cheesecloth or coffee filters. biggrin.gif

Haha. How the heck dirt ended up inside your loop at the first place. biggrin.gif . Nvm, clean your loop with open loop process, then refill filtered coolant. Or you can filter several times outside your loop.

i always use a jug to fill and drain my loop. so i doubt a little amount of tissue must be sticking at the jug and mix into the coolant due to my careless mistake
i not sure whether is plasticizer or what also sad.gif
*
based on my recent test, i did notice adv lrt having slight clouding issue, I got mixed results so I plan to redo the test again. I am not sure either if its plasticizer or not, but if its plasticizer then i'll be damn. I am using primo & spent quite a lot on it...i hope its not true sad.gif

On a side note, my loop was up for around 2days, then I drained it out due to rearrangement & I didnt put it back on. I drained all the water already but I am sure its still wet inside & the tubings got moisture. When it dried I did notice the tubing isnt as clear as brand new..very hard to notice though...not sure if its caused by the sys prep or not since it was in the loop for a day & then I flushed with distilled water..

i'll do more test on the tubing & post the results by end of the month smile.gif

Are you sure it wasn't just like your previous finding? Leave for dry then it'll change to crystal clear? Anyway, can you try with distilled water? ( leave a portion of the tube in distilled water filled cup ) ?

Nope, it was crazymofo's case study.

Ya I think that's call coffee filter. Already filter it for a few times. But I worry that the stain still left in component. So when I free I think I will try the open loop as nohal suggested. Tomorrow start working so have to let it run for one week and see how, only can do it on weekend sad.gif

nope, not same like durelene. I will redo the test la, coz I didnt do it properly in the first place laugh.gif weird though, 9/10 people who are using haven't complained about it, so far didnt hear much issues regarding primo adv.

btw when you open your loop you can connect your sink tap to the components & flush it all out. The sink pressure should be able to push whatever crap there is in..can leave it for few minutes, just make sure the pressure isnt super high la. Try doing it in the afternoon when its a sunny day since the water will be warm...

Don't forget to flush with distiled water afterwards. Malaysia's tap water isn't a proud thing to say. biggrin.gif But, I won't run tap water through my pump, due to it might caught debris during a flush, and it has a delicate spinning component.

yup of course flush it with distilled water in the end. Yeah what I mean was to flush with tap water for those radiators & waterblocks. I wouldn't flush the pump laugh.gif

1st, its too small. 2nd, you might need more radiators to reduce 35c to 30c compared 60c to 30c. No worries man, 35c is cool enough.
*
I just assume the temp. Right now my idle temp is 38C-40C. Havent test at full load yet. But its hard for me to get accurate temp as i'm using amd and the temp software i use (speedfan and HWMonitor) always have spike temp (suddenly temp jump up to 80C +) then get back to normal. The only way to monitor the temp inside the loop is using temp probe, which i'm still trying to figure out how to use it tongue.gif

QUOTE(pristine @ Jun 17 2013, 12:07 AM)
Because it's already close to equilibrium. That difference you're trying to achieve is nearly ambient temperatures, which in itself will fluctuate. If you really want to get there, you'll need to add another radiator, which is at least about another 1++. You could be better off trying to improve your mounting of your blocks and changing out for better thermal paste which is at the most RM60.
*
Maybe i'll change the thermal paste later. Right now using artic mx4.

What kind of temperature probe do you have? Most probes need to use with a controller/computer of some sort and can't be plugged into the motherboard.

Oh, i havent bought any temp probe. What i meant was, i am trying to figure out how temp probe is working, where to put it, how to use it. I dont know anything about the temp probe actually. Still learning notworthy.gif

Temp probe works just like what doctor used to check your body temperature. The different is, it uses some other thing to show the reading ( eg. motherboard header, LCD display, and etc ).

Poke at whatever you want to check the temperature.
