QUOTE(CCubeHL @ Jul 17 2013, 07:46 PM) Wah... so creative You're only supposed to use two bro. But as I heard not all ports can be used with the others together as the wheel might not spin. So need to ensure the ports chosen has a flow that spins the wheel at 1 direction. |

QUOTE(abidgreen93 @ Jul 19 2013, 06:11 AM) Just wanna ask about Swiftech pump MCP35X. The pump got 2 connectors right? The molex power connector and the PWM 4 pin connector... Is it ok if I don't use the PWM 4 pin connector? The pump will work as per normal right? QUOTE(qwe13 @ Jul 19 2013, 11:00 AM) QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Jul 19 2013, 01:47 PM) the 4Pin or 3Pin on pump actually is just for monitoring your pump speed, if you didn't use it also nevermind. abidgreen93, Please USE the 4-pin PWM connector on the 35X. Otherwise, you have just wasted your money on a 35X. The 4-pin PWM connector on the pump allows for speed control of the pump. If you don't use it, your pump will run at max speed. If you wanted to run full speed, you should have just bought a regular 355 in the first place and maybe swap out the top. qwe13, HoNeYdEwBoY, please take note. QUOTE(CCubeHL @ Jul 20 2013, 03:20 AM) Yeap! Glad u pointed that out bro as the price between the 2 pump also not so near so if u dun use the PWM really rugi. Well, you don't completely rugi since the 35X's top is better than a 355's. It's just that main point of buying a 35X is for PWM.This post has been edited by pristine: Jul 20 2013, 12:37 PM |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jul 20 2013, 08:29 PM) Thats one confusing loop design. Very inefficient. Do u have another bayres pump for ure cpu ?? I was wondering the same thing about the bayres pump. Whats those gcs?? Cant see clearly but looks like butt naked vrm cooling. Most gc's nowadays need more cooling on the vrm's rather than the cpu core. The black thing looks like a heatsink but dont see how any positive air will be flowing on it. Y didnt they do a fillport and drain port. Noobies are gonna learn this the hardway. He's running dual 7970 Vapors, I think. |

diaBoliQu3, you will need UNC6-32 and not M3 screws. PLEASE be careful with screw lengths as I don't think the Magicool has a screw shield.
Your AP180 is 32mm thick, so you'll need anywhere from 35 - 40mm UNC6-32 screws. If you can't get 35, get something longer and use washers or a 180mm fan vibration dampener or if you prefer, just cut the screw. If you're doing case|fan|radiator, you will need more than 35mm. QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Jul 26 2013, 12:40 AM) Thanks for the bump. I think get 40mm to be safe. And yes, I almost damage the fin when I try to insert the stock screw. LOL. didn't know you had APs. btw, bro. to be safe, take the screws that came with the radiator when you go shopping for screws. I think there are two versions of your radiator in the market (I don't know for what reason), one using M3 screws, another using UNC6-32 screws. |

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Jul 26 2013, 12:46 AM) If M3 you mean is the casing screw, yes my AP180 are using that screw. But screw from my old rad and the stock screw can go through the fan. The problem is just the length. Anyway, do you know where to get this screw? Or you can sell to me if you have extra. Not case screw. The screw that you're looking for so you can mount the fan to your radiator. Got conflicting information online, so best to take your screw to check first. You can check at home if you've got M3 or UNC6-32 nuts, actually.I have M3 screws, but I don't think I have the ones you need. |
