how much does the splitter cost?
*
8-way PWM splitter, $10 not counting shipping. I think it's available locally, can ask Cyntrix.

You could also get cheapo 4 way splitter cables with PWM from ebay.

That works to. You just dont get the fancy stuff the swiftech one has. haha. But hey, if you don't need the fancy, it works! thumbup.gif

got different in term of cooling performance between laminar flow and turbulence flow?
*
Laminar vs turbulent. lol. Why so detailed bro? How are you going to manage this, anyway?

I think keep it laminar better. Less air, less bubbles.

LOL fluid mechanics? I hate this shit 2 years back in my uni life. Something related to Reynolds number

I kinda liked fluid mechanics. Crazy amount of formula though. Head spin like crazy. laugh.gif

So first they make delrin acyrlic versions:

Then they decide to make full acrylic versons and add an extra port:

Then they went crazy and released a third version which is still full acrylic with the extra port, but with a solid coloured acrylic back.

Wah... so creative  whistling.gif

But as I heard not all ports can be used with the others together as the wheel might not spin.

So need to ensure the ports chosen has a flow that spins the wheel at 1 direction.
*
You're only supposed to use two bro. sweat.gif One in, one out. The centred port cannot be used for inlet, but IINM can be used as outlet. It has multiple ports for flexibility.

Just wanna ask about Swiftech pump MCP35X. The pump got 2 connectors right? The molex power connector and the PWM 4 pin connector... Is it ok if I don't use the PWM 4 pin connector? The pump will work as per normal right?
*
QUOTE(qwe13 @ Jul 19 2013, 11:00 AM)
dont do that...it'll kill ur pump easily..
biggrin.gif  naah...just a pwm cable, doesn't effect the pump
*
QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Jul 19 2013, 01:47 PM)
the 4Pin or 3Pin on pump actually is just for monitoring your pump speed, if you didn't use it also nevermind.
*
abidgreen93, Please USE the 4-pin PWM connector on the 35X. Otherwise, you have just wasted your money on a 35X. The 4-pin PWM connector on the pump allows for speed control of the pump. If you don't use it, your pump will run at max speed. If you wanted to run full speed, you should have just bought a regular 355 in the first place and maybe swap out the top. sweat.gif laugh.gif

qwe13, HoNeYdEwBoY, please take note.

Yeap! Glad u pointed that out bro as the price between the 2 pump also not so near so if u dun use the PWM really rugi.
*
Well, you don't completely rugi since the 35X's top is better than a 355's. It's just that main point of buying a 35X is for PWM.

Thats one confusing loop design. Very inefficient. Do u have another bayres pump for ure cpu ??

Whats those gcs?? Cant see clearly but looks like butt naked vrm cooling. Most gc's nowadays need more cooling on the vrm's rather than the cpu core.
The black thing looks like a heatsink but dont see how any positive air will be flowing on it.

Y didnt they do a fillport and drain port. Noobies are gonna learn this the hardway.
*
I was wondering the same thing about the bayres pump. laugh.gif

He's running dual 7970 Vapors, I think.

So.. the new XSPC reservoirs are going to be called 'Photon' and come in 170 and 270mm sizes.

Hitting the shelves over the next few weeks!

That reservoir is one great beauty!. I hope XSPC will develop a pump link to integrate that reservoir to the Dual D5 pump top, similar to what EK or bispower has offered.
*
If they do, it would be quite something.

diaBoliQu3, you will need UNC6-32 and not M3 screws. PLEASE be careful with screw lengths as I don't think the Magicool has a screw shield.

Your AP180 is 32mm thick, so you'll need anywhere from 35 - 40mm UNC6-32 screws. If you can't get 35, get something longer and use washers or a 180mm fan vibration dampener or if you prefer, just cut the screw.

If you're doing case|fan|radiator, you will need more than 35mm.

Thanks for the bump. I think get 40mm to be safe. And yes, I almost damage the fin when I try to insert the stock screw. doh.gif Luckily no big damage. I wish the stock screw are longer by 10mm. You should tell me earlier regarding this so I can import screw along with the rad. LoL... laugh.gif
*
LOL. didn't know you had APs. tongue.gif

btw, bro. to be safe, take the screws that came with the radiator when you go shopping for screws. I think there are two versions of your radiator in the market (I don't know for what reason), one using M3 screws, another using UNC6-32 screws. doh.gif

If M3 you mean is the casing screw, yes my AP180 are using that screw. But screw from my old rad and the stock screw can go through the fan. The problem is just the length. Anyway, do you know where to get this screw? Or you can sell to me if you have extra.
*
Not case screw. The screw that you're looking for so you can mount the fan to your radiator. Got conflicting information online, so best to take your screw to check first. You can check at home if you've got M3 or UNC6-32 nuts, actually.

I have M3 screws, but I don't think I have the ones you need. sweat.gif Ask niclasteoh and see if he's got the screws you need, or maybe reach out to supernothing, he has some screws too.

Don't bother with definitions. The difference is the screw thread. Different standards.
