one defender, one playmaker, a replacement striker if suarez goes... we are pretty much there...

considering no european football distraction, top 4, too much to ask or not?

by the way suso had a good world cup... hope this is the season we use him to his best position

Benteke handed in a transfer request apparently. Anybody fancy him?

Hoping more for LFC to sign another central defender soon though.

Ah Ben? drool.gif

But what for? We got Sturridge, Suarez, Borini and Aspas up front. I think they are looking for AM

actually my dream forward pair is benteke+lukaku, interchange in a triangle with sturridge, flanked by counthino and suarez...

damn we'll be scoring 100+ goals next season lol

benteke----------lukaku
sturridge

coutinho ----------------------------------- suarez

Beware, Old Sport. These players dont defend very well. We may leak in 200 goals. LOL biggrin.gif

SPURS? shocking.gif

I am speculating their downfall. tongue.gif

Teams to go down, Arse and Spurs. (SPECULATION ONLY. GOONERS DONT BE ANGRY WITH MY COMMENT).

If we are snatching the last spot, we are going to snatch from one of them. biggrin.gif

Liverpool is looking stronger too. We got Aspas, Alberto, Toure and Magnolia and looking to add another AM and CB. tongue.gif

Spurs were just as shaky in the beginning of last season as us. Same with Arse. Their form leading to the chase of top 4 was of course impressive but they do have weakness.

Alan Pardew's team was said to be the team that produces magic with limited resources. I knew they would fall and they did.

The key here is to start the ball rolling as quickly as possible and let them play catch up. Even if Apeman Bale dont leave Spurs, comes January, he will again be unsettled. Trust me. That would disrupt the team

no guarantee we wont slip like them, with so many new players in the team, we would be lucky to get half our new signings to play well biggrin.gif

mancity - they have the quality
chelsea - who can deny the once special one
spurs - just probably is their year
arsenal - never learn.
manu - overachiving, finally go where they belong
LIVERPOOL - to continue with impressive system under BR. no european distraction, more youthful energetic team. better CB. more attacking players

i'd be satisfied if we can sneak in 4th

just my 2 cents biggrin.gif

Yup. No guarantee at all. But Fans wont be patient with BR unfortunately. This is the season we have to get it.

My final speculation

1st - Chelsea - Champion again under Maureen. 85 pts
2nd - MU - Dave cant beat Maureen on goal differences 85pts (LOL. That's going to cause alot of depression to the fans)
3rd - MC - Arabs will again pull out their Guillotine. After the beheading, someone else take over and stabilise the team to 3rd spot - 73 pts
4th - Liverpool - Perhaps 4th is a safer speculation but I speculate it will be close fight with MC till the end - 72 pts
5th - Arse - Falling of the arses but still pips over Spurs tongue.gif - 69 pts
6th - Spurs - Turmoil after Apeman leaves in Jan if not this window - 67 pts
7th - West Ham - Big Sam and his romance with the Pony Tail makes all his knights shining in armor and actually comes out with result - 62 pts
8th - Everton - Back to where they belong anyway. Robbie say no no no, Baines say yeah yeah yeah and the horror story continues - 59pts

LOL biggrin.gif
