He isn't the finished article and at 21, he still have time on his side. Shelvey has potential and he needs first team football, something he won't get with us. It's a good move for him actually. Not sure if there is a buy back clause in his contract.

I think he has the right attitude but he's a loose cannon, something Stevie G was much earlier in his career. If given a choice between attitude vs. ability, I'd opt for attitude but they two are not mutually exclusive, case in point being Stevie G. I like Jonjo and I'm hoping he'll flourish at Swansea.

Selling Shelvey for an initial fee of £5m seems a little cheap IMO. Wonder if there's sell on clause similar to Tom Ince. hmm.gif

He really had potential, I think a loan move would have been better. Then include in the contract that Swansea can buy him after the loan finishes if they want to. Instead of straight selling him.

Liverpool always seems to be the club easiest to 'rip-off' these days. Apart from Countinho, who has been a good business thus far; we always like to sell cheap but buy expensive.. IMO.

Jonjo: "BR said he wouldn't let me go to a club that wasn't right for me. He said Swansea were perfect for me because of the way they play. He(BR) couldn't guarantee me the first-team football, and he said if I could get the game-time at Swansea then I should definitely go."

Also, three academy players have signed their professional contracts today. DanielTrickett-Smith, Ryan Fulton and Lloyd Jones rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I believe the new away and third kit design or what ever color it is , it should not reflect on the teams performance and consistency. I believe its time to buckle up and show some real footballing passion instead of worrying about the sloppy designs.

I dont care how the team looks or how the kits are gonna reflect the teams performance...

What I DO care is how I look when I wear it. U understand? tongue.gif

But, I guess if you wear it and you look like this, its all right. user posted image
