The number is located at the bottom of your service order paper

Anyway, I found that the staff r quite friendly n helpful. I went to the lowyat service center
*
Oh that number... Is lead to Philippine call center i guess. They gave me the local number, but seldom ppl pickup the call. My parts haven arrive yet, i think they also wana change my motherboard as well doh.gif

its ok i'll do that. smile.gif but to be honest benchmark doesn't really test the stability, its just stressing the gpu for 15 mins.  tongue.gif
*
Who says it don't? Its easy to know its stable or not, the program not hang there means is stable. stress gpu for 15 min can't justify anything. The test need to do like 2 hour to prove its stability.

Well is kinda painful to wait, ohmy.gif but thats how most of the ppl test their system.

and why would i benchmark my laptop for 2 hours? which software is that. lol~ isn't it a lot better to have fun while benchmarking? playing games and do stuff if it takes 2 hours? And also while benchmarking u need to stare at the screen for 2 hours to see if there is any artifact~ because stability doesn't mean the program hang only~ thats just for the scores. but if you're playing games u will need to stare at the screen while playing games and yeah see artifacts along the way.
*
Ofc some benchmark is calculate score, some is to stress system performance, depends on what kind of thing u wana test ofc nod.gif

U can do test up to 3 days, its all up to u lol biggrin.gif . There was plenty tools out there, burntest, calculate PI, prime, the list goes on & on. brows.gif

scores obtain are from system being stressed. so yeah~ i sometimes use furmark burn-in test if i want to run a quick test of temp. but thats it. I'd rather play games for days instead of benchmarking for days. No point doing it. I'm not writing a full review. Even so, people are more interested in real life test (with games) instead of scores. biggrin.gif say what FPS did u got~ and stuff like that~

let me know if u're running 3 days test btw.. it's good to know members here are running them. would like to know the result as well ~.

on another note. assassin creed IV oh yeah~
*
I not so hardcore to do stress test for 3 days in a row biggrin.gif , even I have rig run for 24/7. The most i done in my rig is 10 hours stress test becoz wana test newly installed stuff for OC stability icon_rolleyes.gif

biggrin.gif some people might be lucky some might not. Ah depends on the luck then~ lol. are they changing new mobo?
Some people receive good treatment from asus. smile.gif so partly improved lo~ lol.
*
Can't say partly improve, i dun think anyone wana gamble with "maybe got lucky get good service" this kind of treatment. This is about team work, one ppl not doing their job good means the whole team performance is not good. No matter how good their grandmother story excuses they are given.

what problem? i haven't done furmark on my new mobo yet.. previously i had issue with hot CPU rather than hot GPU..

any test to test my CPU?
*
I also wana know whats wrong, take 2 weeks to fix it. Better gime a new 1 lar. Said spare part not arrive, ask which spare part, they duno. Ask 5 question 4 duno. Good or not? mad.gif mad.gif

What kind of test you want? performance? stability? You can google it, there's plenty tho. nod.gif

i more concern about the CPU temperature
*
Then should do prime, since we have no option of OC on CPU, i think using this is sufficient to test on temp, if your temp not exceed 105C (TJmax) the speed will go down (throttled) to protect the CPU. Just keep monitoring then should be fine.

yeah.. but CPU test needs at least 4 hours.. duh
*
No need 1 lar~~ u notebook only not OC rig mah~ laugh.gif

U all can test the system stability in shorter time with prime

Just select custom and test with
1344fft 1344fft 1minute 80-90% available ram for 15mins
If can passed the test u can test with 1792fft 1792fft 1minute 80-90% available ram for 15mins too

Normally,if your system is unstable..one of the workers will stop/BSOD will happen within 10mins of both test

well actually its like that.. happens to ivy bridge also.. earlier release seems to have high temps and stuff compared to the already steady sandy bridge smile.gif its a pattern.. newer ones will have lab rats til they fix it and make it stable~ the usual
*
The only explanation is they wana sell their product 1st, rather they fix the problem b4 it market it to the public. IMO it happens to all the product. Market 1st, patch later.

New mobo experience for playing 2 hours of non stop battlefield 3 multiplayer: both CPU n gpu temp hover around 92c when no gaming, halloway is correct. CPU is slightly hotter than gpu at 55c n 45c respectively

92c when no gaming? Is that typo or what? sweat.gif

Normally i'll jz wait for the last batch of CPU phase out and make purchase. It has greater OC capabilities & IMC strength flex.gif .

1st batch? no thx. Die also duno what happen biggrin.gif
