oh.. but my idea is this: to have good experience, you must have good infrastructure that is relatively time-proof.

you don't change infrastructure much; you only change end-point devices most of the times. routers happen to be infrastructure (well, only cutting edge technology are relatively time-proof; but the price is surely much higher :/).

I would like to see the real thing on wifi transfer, it must be awesome thumbup.gif

hmm from gtx 670m to gtx660m? don't think it's a good idea. and the G75VX itself has really good  cooling system with upgrade ability already. smile.gif just my 2 cents tho.

The only +1 on that laptop is the 3820 which also will have higher temp compared to ur current G75 but if u need more graphic power instead of cpu then the g75 is still the good choice

but then again u only need to upgrade the GPU to have it become a beast~ lol.. which alienware allows~  Imho trade ur G75 basic (without ram upgrades + ssd) and get that + gpu upgrade maybe? advantage to u from my pov
*
1 good thing that aw doing well is that their GPU module is upgradable, which has bigger advantage over Asus. nod.gif

QUOTE(horns @ Jul 11 2013, 08:09 AM)
I think the costs for you to do just that is more than getting a g750 smile.gif

Our board circuit design might have compatibility issues  also hehe; and bios must be modded to use 770m vbios.
*
yeah, your're right cry.gif . 14" is too small & 17" is too big for me. my comfort zone is 15" tongue.gif

actually Msi afterburner, evga precision, riva tuner or nvidia ocing tool serves the same purpose. it's a matter of ur preferences smile.gif

EVGA ftw~

EVGA precision is good, my RIG oso using EVGA GC, better OC than ASUS. stable & quiet, highly recommended!! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

ASUS throttle most of their GPU don't know why. Yeah it's good thing they did that for safety measures but at times its kinda annoying happy.gif

ur GPU core 90C? woah.. ask them a new unit then. don't want that laptop anymore.. maybe replace with g750? lol
*
Asus wont be so generous 1 lar.. I oso wont dream so much, as long they wont be so noob to fix the problem i would be satisfy edi.

QUOTE(ykgen @ Jul 13 2013, 05:21 PM)
90c is standard la for BF3
*
already overheat, i throttle down only. Seems like the fan RPM doesn't spin fast to cool the CPU down.

For me gathering is where ppl come together to share their skill & knowledge, there's more things to learn when you can experience things live than jz reading online and watch youtube in your home. Plus it is the way to socialize with new people. That's what i thought, i been attending few meetup / gathering, I learn new things everytime and I do enjoy it.

So, what is gathering mean to you? Is that to show off gadget? Really??

not that i don't want to have a gathering.. but i myself is damn busy .. lol.. infact today 18 til 22 of july will not be in the country =.="..

it's actually good to have gathering but i myself never arrange one (no experience at all) was thinking a gathering should be quite decent if we we're to bring our laptops along.  smile.gif

but yeah it's never wrong to plan ahead
*
That's right, some pathetic people can come from nowhere jumps in and say gathering is to showoff gadget. From how he/she leave comment i can see how shallow he/she is. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(Unseen83 @ Jul 18 2013, 02:35 AM)
hmm  why don't you go to shop to pick up G750jx? hmm and when i purchase my G75vx i went to Asus service center let them install SSD... plus RAM... and fix screen .. got it in 3 working day..
*
IMHO G75 is easier to disassemble than G55, those monkeys in sc always break the bracket clips at front panel or back panel for G55... Because of their stupid mistake, i have to wait my laptop to return for 3 fxxking weeks... seriously... mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

QUOTE(horns @ Jul 18 2013, 08:58 AM)
oh to learn stuff and meet people. no wonder you're so keen on this smile.gif yeah maybe i can learn a thing or two from you for desktop rigs biggrin.gif

sorry i asked because i had bad experience before. it's sad that many like to show off and talk nonsenses (when there are girls, even if they're not pretty, this got worst). it's like they're the only ones who own stuff. it's kind of shallow and pathetic, and waste my precious free time for nothing.

.. and maybe our number in malaysia is so small that asus malaysia decides not to bother us lol!
i work during weekends.
*
I not pro lah, but I understand the purpose of gathering. Ofc there's some morons come from nowhere destroy the purpose of gathering. But please dun let them carried away.
