i think i have to go asus service center.. i have battery issue.. aisk.. keep giving me message to replace battery duh

thank god, my warranty ends on June 26, 2013

i think you better do that quickly. but how come you can get that? did you dry the battery very often?

not really.. but i have never removed the battery from the laptop for the past 1 year.. and one more thing, those who use the G55 without battery, does the time need to reset every time we boot the laptop? mine was automatically reset to 1/1/2009 rclxub.gif

same here; i never removed my battery unless i changed my hardware or did some house keeping.

no, the time doesn't get reset without battery. your cmos battery has problem? maybe you should change the cmos battery, not the other one?

shouldn't be that long, well the disassembling part is a pain in the ass tho... biggrin.gif.. i took 2 hours on my first try to disassemble wholly and another 2 hours to assemble it back~.. they prolly could do it in 2h tops?

I go for cool labotory, it has better cooling efficiency. But i canot trust these asus guy, i need to learn how to disassemble the laptop myself

Now my laptop totally cannot boot with or without battery. It just died. Only power light on n no movement at all. Shit!!!

uh? this one i am not ready to do it yet. it's conductive.

i think for cpu it's fine. but for gpu, there are some dies near the gpu.

it's likely the issue of cmos battery. it's better to get it done at service center first :/
