And yep, possible to drop back to pre-GE period. Right now the local market is supported heavily by retailers and local fund... Sooner or later people will cash out.

Got lah.. cash rich, consumer, crony business, stable business kind of stocks plenty wat... All these at least 3 years cause election long way somore.

Should i buy a stock before or after ex-date? I understand if i buy before ex-date i will get the dividend and not get it after ex-date.

Assume I am buying for long term. You may say that if i buy for long term, it is ok either way. Would like to hear your view.

High debt levels have raised the chances of a global recession in the next three to five years to more than 60 percent, said Pimco, which manages the world's largest bond fund.
