Do you think your business is affected by Google Nexus 7 and 10?

well, its just for my wife ebook reading and web surfing i guess hd7 good enough.. no need for a nexus then..

AInol tab's are cheap, i dont think the nexus will have much competition with it? no?

China tablets still have one fundamental problem.

For Flame, Ainol using different quality type of LCD screen call QM (Qi Mei) type while Fire using TM (tianma) type screen. Usually for export model Ainol try to build better quality as they also understand if warranty rate too high it may jeopardised their profit.

Ainol already produce more than 10 models for export market from Aurora, Aurora II, Elf, Elf II, Crystal, Crystal II, Flame, Venus, Hero, Heor II, Spark, Legend, Rainbow and many new models to come.

Not sure if its cheap. I try to find good China tablet with at least RK chipset. 7~8" cost RM600 which is near Nexus 7 non-HD price. 10" cost RM7xx which is now near Nexus 10 price.

Price difference between acceptable China tablet and branded one is now RM1xx.

Unless of course you're talking about very low end one.

Else, paying RM1xx extra with good warranty, QA etc is probably a good idea. Especially Nexus device give you peace of mind of upgrading OS years to come. With China Tablet, you're stuck with 4.2 forever. Its not that 4.2 is bad.

I prefer to pay extra.

China tablet quality is horribly inconsistent. Some can get good units, others At least if and when the need to claim warranty, you wouldn't be waiting >1 month to send the tablet back to China, service, and send back. If damage on the way how? Despite some of the China's tablets having good specs, it's still much recommended to get branded ones.

Silly Ainol. Cant use one device to sell to the whole world.

Yeah, now with branded tablet price at all time low, I don't see why we still need to buy China tablet.

last time, Branded Tablet > RM1000. Difference in price is huge.

So please follow ericmaxman advice. Get a branded tablet.

As Ainol already mentioned very clearly in the giftbox "for sales in China domestic market only" but some reseller still bring in due to cheap price and I suspect they are now face a lot of problems.

Who's fault? Ainol.

If Ainol wanted to do business properly, they wouldn't start this nonsense of international and domestic model. They'll do one model, and sell worldwide.

Mine too in English version. I am quite happy with the tablet so far. Surely cannot compare to those branded like ipad and smasung & so on. Lucky Ainol Malaysia support isn't that bad......... hope they can do better thought.
