Ainol hero2 at RM600 below.
Any tablet that is 10 inch is comparable with it or even better price /performance ratio?
*
I wont recommend the Hero2. The Actions ATM7029 is a subpar SoC. Lousy gaming performance, dated technology, despite being a quad core.

Between Asus Memo HD7 and Nexus 7, is it worth the extra RM200 for Nexus 7? I hear the Tegra chip in Nexus 7 plays games better and Nexus 7 has better audio. What's your opninion?

if you play a LOT of graphic heavy games, then recommended to get the better one.
if u just need it for reading, facebook, web surfing, watch movie, then its not necessary.

any tried the cheapcast app on their tablets? install the app, connect tablet to tv and you have a 'chromecast'.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....maui.cheapcast

i tried it on my older unused allwinner a10 tablet and the video is lagging, not sync to the audio. anyone else have performance issues?

1. Brand. (Any)
2. Budget. RM500 or lower
3. Specs. 7.0 size or 8.0 may be acceptable. plz suggest both with and without 3g, good wifi strength
4. What you need in the tablet. web browsing, reading and typing documents, youtube/movie, gaming (at most also need for speed)

Also, mind explaining the Pros and Cons of China Brand tablet? Because i have Acer B1 tablet but my dad wants it because he doesn't trust China brand.

Thank you.

Below RM500 almost impossible to get 3G, unless you factor in Chinese ones... But since your dad doesn't want Chinese tablets, so yeah.

There's basically nothing wrong with Chinese tablets, other than the fact that the biggest headache will be warranty claims. You are forced to take the tablet back to where you bought it from. But quality wise, I wouldn't say it's any worse than what Acer/Asus/Lenovo offers.

Tested the Oaxis XpringSurf G8D. Horrible tablet. Lagging even at the launcher. For that RM699 price, better to get the Lenovo A3000 or even the Asus Fonepad. Oaxis dare not even list what processor it's running. Only says it's a dual core Cortex A9 @ 1.2Ghz. (Probably a Mediatek, but still, the Lenovo which uses a Mediatek dual core isnt that laggy)

Please avoid.
