Need some help to decide between Huawei Mediapad M6, Huawei Matepad 10.4 (LTE) or Samsung S5E. Can also recommended if there any other 4G/LTE tablet within the price.

Usage is for casual gaming, Netflix and some light reading and browsing. Budget is around RM1.5K++

Mediapad M6
--------------
+ High end processor
+ Large storage 128GB
- No GMS

Matepad 10.4
--------------
+ Cheapest (lower than budget)
+ Decent spec
- No GMS

Samsung S5e
---------------
+ GMS
+ AMOLED screen
- Over budget (looking for 11.11 deals)
- Spec is low for the price.

1. Brand: Don't care, as long as I can find it easily in Malaysia
2. Budget: below RM1000
3. Specs: recommended screen quality for reading
4. What you need in the tablet: mainly for reading & notes, and occasionally watching movies

"Alldocube iPlay 20 Tablet Review: Android 10 for $100 USD

Surprisingly smooth except when gaming. If you want a super-cheap Android tablet that both performs and feels great, then it'd be hard finding something better than the Alldocube iPlay 20. There are, however, a few important caveats to keep in mind.

Verdict
In review: Alldocube iPlay 20. Test unit provided by Alldocube

The Alldocube iPlay 20 is better than expected for its price. You're just not going to find another tablet for $100 with the same bright 16:10 1200p display, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 10 out-of-the-box, and MicroSD support all in one.

There are two major drawbacks to the Alldocube tablet since corners had to be cut to meet the target price point. Processor performance in particular is atrociously slow and so applications won't launch as quickly as most people are accustomed to. Multi-tasking isn't instantaneous and most 3D games are sluggish and choppy. The odd power consumption behavior, very slow charging rate, and average battery life could have been better without needing to up the cost of the device. "

Note that the Cellular/LTE Ipad and certain Cellular/LTE Samsung 10" Android tablets cannot make Cellular Voice calls and SMS, ie can only use Cellular/LTE data to surf the web/Internet or open/run Apps. Note that WhatsApp calls use Cellular data.

Nearly all China-made Cellular/LTE Android tablets can make Cellular Voice calls and SMS(= 3G/2G), besides can use Cellular data = these 10" tablets can replace 7" smartphones to become Super-sized phones or Home-phones.

Hi sifus, looking for suitable tablet for senior.

1. Brand: no preference, as long as easily available in Malaysia.
2. Budget: RM2000
3. Specs: screen at least 10"
4. What you need in the tablet: not sure what spec required. It's for my mum to do some web surfing and do online banking stuff. Maybe some drama watching too..

Thank you.

Hi

1. Brand: no preference.
2. Budget: RM1000
3. Specs: screen at least 10"
4. What you need in the tablet: I am looking for a tablet specifically for gaming purpose only. I'm going to use it most of the time (maybe 95%) for playing RuneScape Mobile. At this moment, I am using my Redmi Note 9 Pro and I had no problem with it but I wanted a bigger screen. That is all.

Thank you very much.

The latest Tab (cheaper ones), I think don't come with s-pen

It has been reported that Huawei mobile is getting much less portion of the market. Best to avoid buying them, in my opinion

but there is not even one company manufacturing tablet 8 inch and above beside samsung and huawei , putting aside overprice ipad.

Mostly handwriting work or for student on home study using a pen to do some home work.
No matter i search , can't find a tab with Tab A 8.0 with S-pen below 1k.I don't mind lower spec , since not using for anything beyond , just zoom , some whatsapp and email writing signing and student formula study with handwriting.

Maybe , but I am still finding for small tablet.
I can't find any Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) selling at all. Did they stop selling low screen size at malaysia ?
Now everyone wants a tab for zoom and study but not too large and heavy to carry out like 10 inch , wonder when samsung going to release it here ?

"If you’re looking for a new budget tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is coming to Malaysia very soon. Pre-orders are available via retailer Mobile2Go with stocks expected to arrive on 26th June 2021.

According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite WiFi is officially priced at RM699 and it comes in either Silver or Grey. Like the “Lite” name suggests, this is the affordable alternative to the 10.4″ Galaxy Tab A7 that was launched last year for RM999.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite comes with an 8.7″ TFT display that pushes 1340×800 pixels resolution and it runs on an entry-level MediaTek Helio P22T processor. The device is offered with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card."

Quoted from the report. Buy this, and don't forget to buy Samsung fast charger, if it is indeed not included in the package.
