ARE THOSE EVEN FINAL FANTASY BACKGROUND MUSICS?! (rap / metal / terrible result screen BGM) the hell am I playing Devil May Cry... out of place as hell. I'd been Google-ing hours now for possible mod, so far only seen some costume replace mod. Need BGM removal if anyone know there is any.
Inb4 someone bash me just like all other such request on any other forum I manage to read this whole morning- I dislike it, it's out of place as hell, understand? There were such music in older FF but they blend well, but NOT in XIII-2... It's killing the damn mood.
There is a way however but not perfect, turn audio channel to 5.1 and only output through center / subwoofer cable. All BGM now muted, although dialog is fine but effect sounds become too low & CGI have no audio. Ignore, realize it's not consistent.

Must have misunderstood what I trying to say. I'm not having any technical issue with the game, but rather I want to remove some crap BGMs (subjective stuff, I hate it, but you maybe like it).
Unfortunately one forum actually require me to pay $$ to access their file... That's the decryption tool there, if anybody have a Xentax forum account...
Come to think about it, I NEVER complained anything (really) in any previous FF games since VII (exclude the MMO). This is the first time. Just a few tracks I really dislike, the rest are good. Must find a way...

how to change the display control to a controller instead of keyboard??
there is an option in the in game setting menu that says "On Screen Button Explanation".
just finished both, despite the stories are full of confusions not all too well presented; as it yet again made me shed my tears, everything is forgiven.
now I just wonder when Lightning Returns will hit PC.

Too much errands, or tough fights, I went lazy and Youtube'd it... Combat in XIII-2 feels kinda way too fast for my taste, on top of the more "vicious" camera movements... I just can't stay in proper control compared to XIII.

monster in FF13-2 'softer' than ff13, maybe that's why..
watched some LR:FF13 combat, its way much faster than ff13-2
There are tons of "balance changes" sort of things really does change the combat play style a lot. can't say I like every of the changes though. stagger? lol that is way nerfed.
However I just play for the story only anyway. Reading guides trying to achieve the best stuff kinda made the game a bit un-fun for me, I just want to immerse into the story. on top of that, they really need to improve the in-game explanation of things, some are badly written and I often tab out to Google stuff...
I actually like the linearity of XIII. The first 30 hours was all story packed, virtually no pause and distraction. I got lost a bit in XIII-2 mid game actually.

You have to actually read the datalog to get the full lore of the game.
And to dig a little deeper, best read out the novels as well (translated from JP) can be found here. The translation can be a little dizzy but overall still good read. Still good enough to... http://mecorx.blogspot.ca
