QUOTE(M1X @ Jan 12 2015, 09:07 PM) There are tons of "balance changes" sort of things really does change the combat play style a lot. can't say I like every of the changes though. stagger? lol that is way nerfed. However I just play for the story only anyway. Reading guides trying to achieve the best stuff kinda made the game a bit un-fun for me, I just want to immerse into the story. on top of that, they really need to improve the in-game explanation of things, some are badly written and I often tab out to Google stuff... I actually like the linearity of XIII. The first 30 hours was all story packed, virtually no pause and distraction. I got lost a bit in XIII-2 mid game actually. You have to actually read the datalog to get the full lore of the game.

QUOTE(yiporan @ Dec 11 2015, 12:11 AM) release now, and 14.3gb only ? 10% off right now. It's only £11 in UK store or RM48 in the Malaysian store. Quite cheap I think. I expected to pay at least rm100 or so.

QUOTE(pikacu @ Dec 14 2015, 07:59 AM) anyone played this yet? wanna know how is the famous desert shahagin fps..lel I haven't played for long yet but my 960m is pulling 60 fps all the time at 1080p with maxed settings. I would suspect any fps issues on PS3 were due to hardware limitations of the console and not the game itself.

QUOTE(Darkz01 @ Dec 16 2015, 10:36 AM) probably because not many people buy it... and most of those owner didnt really care about the constant online requirement. according to steamspy as of today only around 40K copy sold in steam... unlike FFXIII iinm in the 1st week it manage sold nearly 100K. That is usually the case for every sequel. If they didn't like FFXIII then they wouldn't be any subsequent game in the series. Also, LR was delayed for a very long time, many people could have lost interest. Apart from the online requirement which I feel really shouldn't be a problem in this day and age, LR is actually a very good port that is well optimized.

Well, just in case anyone didn't know, the online-only part of the game was patched out. Looks like squeenix is really listening to the community. LR is by far the best port they've done and it shows. Really excited for the future of final fantasy games on PC.

QUOTE(Marcion @ Jan 17 2016, 11:02 PM) that mean offline can also playable? Yep. Previously you needed to be always online because the save file synced to steam cloud. Now if you're offline it'll just save locally then upload to Steam cloud when you're next online.
