i will buy just to support the practice regardless whether it is worth or not. i did not play FF13 anyway so i decided to give it a try.

OK, finished FFXIII (although too much cliché but it's still an awesome game) and started FFXIII-2.... and I got a problem.

did you tried on 2.1 setup? i've read somwhere that 5.1 setup have issues with ff13-2

Must have misunderstood what I trying to say. I'm not having any technical issue with the game, but rather I want to remove some crap BGMs (subjective stuff, I hate it, but you maybe like it). sweat.gif

Unfortunately one forum actually require me to pay $$ to access their file... That's the decryption tool there, if anybody have a Xentax forum account...

Come to think about it, I NEVER complained anything (really) in any previous FF games since VII (exclude the MMO). This is the first time. Just a few tracks I really dislike, the rest are good. Must find a way...

how to change the display control to a controller instead of keyboard??

there is an option in the in game setting menu that says "On Screen Button Explanation".

just finished both, despite the stories are full of confusions not all too well presented; as it yet again made me shed my tears, everything is forgiven. cry.gif

now I just wonder when Lightning Returns will hit PC.

for FFXIII-2, did you unlocked ending on Lightning's Story DLC, and Paradox Secret Ending?

Too much errands, or tough fights, I went lazy and Youtube'd it... sweat.gif sweat.gif
Combat in XIII-2 feels kinda way too fast for my taste, on top of the more "vicious" camera movements... I just can't stay in proper control compared to XIII.

There are tons of "balance changes" sort of things really does change the combat play style a lot. can't say I like every of the changes though. stagger? lol that is way nerfed.

However I just play for the story only anyway. Reading guides trying to achieve the best stuff kinda made the game a bit un-fun for me, I just want to immerse into the story. on top of that, they really need to improve the in-game explanation of things, some are badly written and I often tab out to Google stuff...

I actually like the linearity of XIII. The first 30 hours was all story packed, virtually no pause and distraction. I got lost a bit in XIII-2 mid game actually. sweat.gif

Yea only figure that out mid games...

And to dig a little deeper, best read out the novels as well (translated from JP) can be found here.
The translation can be a little dizzy but overall still good read. Still good enough to... sad.gif cry.gif cry.gif
