for me...
yeah...
because my internet always intermittent DC...
keep on changing IP like there is no tomorrow...

dunno why they want to do like what ubilembut did previously...
they should learn from ubilembut mistakes, not follow it...
even ubilembut learnt from their mistakes and no need for constant internet connection anymore.

you have to understand it's hard to convince the top guys who doesn't know about gaming. most publishers need assurance on their products being secured and protected from piracy. if it's really a big deal, you can still buy the game from steam legitly and then play the DRM free version.

what i found most laughable are the people complain about this and still playing free.

The challenge is there, but the bad port performance during launch is the main let down for major gamers.

well what to do. this is how it works. if we don't support by buying the game, japanese publishers will not bring their games to our platforms. they are probably just "testing" waters.

Well, just in case anyone didn't know, the online-only part of the game was patched out.

Looks like squeenix is really listening to the community. LR is by far the best port they've done and it shows.

Really excited for the future of final fantasy games on PC. smile.gif

Yep. Previously you needed to be always online because the save file synced to steam cloud. Now if you're offline it'll just save locally then upload to Steam cloud when you're next online.

can be hard at first to learn,
if the fight is impossible or "insanely" hard to even stay alive - check your build against the enemy strong point and weak points.
going all out offensive isn't a viable option for larger monsters.

I find it very intuitive to put the guard button of your sentinel, same as your attack button of your ravager/commando - so you can go into defense mode immediately just by 1 press of L1/R1.

The worst part of this game? It makes you feels that most other games' combat system are insanely boring. biggrin.gif

You probably misunderstood what I trying to say.

And no, don't worry about your time... Even done large majority of side quests, I still had to WAIT 2~3 days (sleep at inn) to get to the last day. So the time is indeed, plentiful.

I know what you're trying to say bro. Just my opinion about this game since i played within these few days. What if the days already ended? Is it game over?

The last part of the main story only begin when all the time depleted.

If the time ran out without finishing all main quests at all areas, yes, a game over.
But that's unlikely to happens on a normal play through.

I know there's a way to complete all side events quests. You have to grind to EP from enemies. Then you can stop the time with all you want
